Snack: Protein Soup
Dinner: 4oz of Pot Roast with Grilled Mushrooms

Good Morning Botts!

So, I did talk to my doc about changing my meds from Cymbalta since they were costing $50 a month. She switched me to Zoloft. I got that filled generic. Guess how much that is....ready for it... about $0.32 a month! WHAAT!? $.97 cents for a 90 day supply. Today is day 2 on it, and I have to say I actually feel chipper. Hmmm, hope it lasts cause its nice to be in a GOOD mood.

Yesterday I found a 5k that I want to do. Its on May 19th. Its the Leatherneck 5k which supports the Semper Fi Fund and they provide immediate financial assistance to injured and critically ill US Serivce Members and their families. Its also close to home. Im HOPING to be able to run the entire way by then. Not sure if I will. Started training last night and can only sustain a run for about 30-45 seconds at a time! LOL My plan was to walk 4 minutes/ run1 and repeat 4 times. Im going to try my hardest!

Eats for today:

Coffee w/ cream
Quest bar and banana
Greek yogurt 'parfait' Okios fat free yogurt, fresh strawberries and Kashi Go Lean Crunch
Pear and WW String Cheese
Pure Protein Bar
Not sure whats for dinner tonight.

Today is my rest day.

Breakfast - another protein coffee
Snack - protein shake made with almond milk and 2 tsp Benefiber
Lunch - 1 c chili
Snack - 1 hard boiled egg, 1 c chopped veggie salad
Dinner - going out to dinner with a girlfriend tonight.  A little nervous about food choices. I'm not at all familiar with the restaurant or menu, so I'll aim for salad of just veggies and dressing on the side, and steak, shrimp, or chicken with veggies
