Good Morning!

Im running early today. Woke up at 3:30 and couldnt get back to sleep. Decided to come into work early so I could leave early, but with all my 'taking my time' I only made it 20 minutes early! Oh well... Hoping to stay awake all day cause I have a personal training session tonight.

I also finally got in with my Nut. I have an appt with her on the 2nd. Hopefully between the trainer and the nut, we can get the scale moving.

Eats for today:

About Time Peaches and Cream protein...Not so much peaches. Glad it was a sample :(
Coffee w/ cream
Quest Bar and Banana
Greek Yogurt w/ PB2 and walnuts
Pure Protein bar (either before the gym or dessert)
Lean Cuisine steamer bag

 Hi Mary:

I wonder how that about time peaches and cream protein shake would taste if you added a 1/2 cup of lite diced peaches mixed with it.  It sounds pretty good to me.

Hmmm, that sounds pretty good. Maybe make some ice cream with it?

Have you tried that one? If it hadnt said peaches on the bottle, I would have never guessed. It really had no peach taste at all. I added unsweet vanilla almond milk (its one of those single serve bottles with the protein and you add your own liquid). It tasted like plain milk to me. I added a tsp of Stevia. That didnt really help. If I had more time to play with it Im sure I could have don more with it, but basically it was almost unflavored.

I have not tried that one yet.  I am pretty much a powder girl.  I am not sure that I have had any of the premixed drinks at all.  I mostly just throw my chocolate protein powder in the ninja, add a two shots of SF chocolate syrup, 1 tbs. PB2 and 1/2 a frozen bananas and some ice and pulse.  It is so yummy and filling.  It is my go to shake this month.

I agree. Not their best protein shake. I use that for backing. And put some diced peaches inside. The baked goods do look nice (color wise) and with peach I can taste the peach.
The banana is great. And I used to love the strawberries  -but mostly mixed with Greek yogurt and fresh fruits and stevia.

last night I did HORRIBLE....I ate cookies and ice cream with the kids... of course this made me sick...and omg the leg cramps...I am not sure this is from the sugar or lack of water...but every time I eat sugar at night I am sure to be woken up several times during the night with foot and leg cramps.
today....I am going to do better...pre planned my evening sweets!

EM coffee x 2
B- turkey sausage, cheese and half a protein flax pancake...
S- if I want it Muscle milk lite shake
L- chicken breast, Cold slaw, radish and tomato salad.
S- Quest Protein bar
D- miracle noodles with beef tomato and basil sauce, salad
S- fruit jello pudding desert ... ( new desert I made up...not sure if it's new or not..) but I was desperate for something sweet and low sugar..high protein ...soo I did this
( if you are interested )
recipe
serves 6.
1 cup pre packed tropical fruit cup cold section NSA with juice
1 box sugar free strawberry jello
1 box sugar free peach jello
1 cap full banana flavoring ( no calories..carb etc,)
10 sliced fresh strawberries
1/4 cup blueberries fresh
2 scoops vanilla whey protein
2 cups boiling water

1.mix jello with boiling water to dissolve
2.  add juice from cold fruit cup and flavoring
3. stir in protein powder ( you may mix this in a blender to get any lumps out that formed )  I did not use any more liquids I wanted it to be firm BUT if it comes out too firm I think next time i will add some LITE vanilla soy milk ...
4. I used a 9 in pie plate and lightly sprayed it with Pam...
then poured the liquids in the plate and sprinkled fruit in (some of it , sinks some floats which i liked..) and the plate was large enough to not be too deep)
all I can tell you is the liquid from this was soooo good...can't wait to see how it comes out...also I am thinking of adding more protein  also I may have s/f whipped topping on it....

I alternate between protein pudding and NSA ice cream sandwiches so I know what you are talking about needing something sweet in the evening.  After a long day, I need something to look forward to.  You just need to find several go to good sweets that you can have that will not make you sick but that you can enjoy when your family is having a treat too.  Good luck today.

Well, I had a bad night.  Went to bed at 11:30 and back a woke at 1:30am.  For what every reason I just wasn't feeling well, pack my bag grab my med's and checked my blood preesure which was slightly up and sat it out for a few hours, still up till around 4am and fell back to sleep.  I am trying to get my doctor to call me back now and if he's unable I think I'll head over to the Urgent Care and speak with them.  I just don't understand why my blood pressure spike in the early morning and I start feeling aweful when I lay down at night.

I did have a moment yesterday I had 4 fried chicken wings for dinner around 7pm from my local chicken shack...I've been craving them for a few weeks and just happen to be close to them to stop in.

So, no working out for me today.

Breakfast: Which I just finished was a Protein Shake w/tsp of SF pudding
Snack/Lunch: Protein Bar - Snickers Marathon
Snack: Protein Soup - Cream of Mushroom w/Tbsp of Benefiber
Dinner: Pot Roast and veggies (finally, if the Pot Roast is still good)
Snack: Bowl of Fresh Berries

What is your sodium count?  My husband ate a lot of tomato soup and it was spiking is blood pressure because of the sodium content along with other items he was consuming such as nuts.  Please have them look at that to see if that could be an issue.  I hope you feel better real soon.
