I understand what you are going through with the exercise. I have two young children, 3 1/2 and 18 months, who want nothing to do with a stroller.  So, we take a family walk (which can be a very slow stroll when they are compelled to stop and examine every ant hill and pick up and throw every rock) every night after dinner.  When they break out into a run, so do we.  We always try to get them in the wagon (which we take in case they get tired - but they never do) and haul them up steep hills. We just go longer and play a lot more outside.  It may not be structured exercise but our bodies are moving.

You can do this!

I have to laugh about the young ones examining every rock & ant hill. So true. lol.
I also like the idea of saying that it's all good if at least our bodies are moving. I will keep that in mind because most times for me it is an all or nothing thing, so that puts a positive spin to it.
Thanks.

I can totally relate.  My WLS was in Jan 2005 - done well until about a year ago and now gained 40 lb.  I have started and restarted so many times but I keep plugging along.  Yesterday was a restart and I am taking one meal/one day at a time.  Yesterday was good - totally faithful and today so far - doing good.  Your wine is my hershey kisses.  I got to a point that I really think I have a hershey kiss eating disorder........REALLY!  It is awful when you find yourself thinking about hershey kisses.  My husband tells me "you have come to far  to put the weight on now"....and I agree with him.  I can give excuses on top of excuses..

Even though I have restarted so many times, this group is a lot of help and encouragement.  Hang in there - one meal/one day at a time.

So far.....
Breakfast - Unjury Chocolate Shake
AM Snack - Quest Cinnamon Protein Bar
Lunch - Bacon Ranch Salad from McD's with ranch dressing
Afternoon Snack - Unjury Strawberry Lemon Shake
Dinner - meat and veggie (not sure yet)
Evening Snack - if needed - Unjury Oatmeal snack

Another downfall is those evil bathroom scales.  I am going to stay off of them for a while and judge my weight loss from my clothes.  I get so frustrated when those scales don't move.  I am trying to stay away from those things that cause me to fail.

Exercise has gone out the window.  I don't like to exercise and can really talk myself out of it very easy.  But I do like working in the yard, so with the warm weather, doing some yard work to get some activity in.

Hang in There!
Have a blessed day!
