Morning Botts:

I am checking in from Nashville this morning.  Needless to say I will have a busy day packing up dishes, pictures, and knick knacks and getting ready for the big move tomorrow.  My eats and cardio for today are:

Exercise:  Packing, Packing, and more Packing

Prebreakfast:  Coffee & Miralax
Breakfast:  Oatmeal
Snack:  Quest Chocolate Protein Bar
Lunch:  Protein Peanut Butter Bar
Snack:  Cheese and grapes
Dinner:  not sure
Snack:  Biscotti

Have a great day and pray for me that my back holds up.  Don't forget your vits and fluids.

Good morning friends....today's plan...( alm went off at 3:30 am ...i could not get up to go exercise...but am going to go in the morning.)
This time change and my cycle have me all messed up! 
EM- coffee
PRE B - muscle milk 7 am
B- protein pancake 9 am
S- 100 cal muscle milk
L-  chicken with pinto, cheese , salsa, and sour cream (bowl)
S- almonds string cheese
D- chicken and feta patty, sliced tomatoes with olive oil and greek seasoning.
S- blueberry cream cheese protein desert or quest

Morning everyone. TGIF!!

Im crazy bummed today. Today is my weigh in day. Worked so very hard this week with the new bootcamp program and trainer. Scale says Im up 5 pounds today. Im totally devistated. I KNOW in my head thats not true. Im sure its water trying to feed my muscles especially since I was SO sore this week. No way can it be fat...blah, blah, blah... I just cant wrap my head around it. I cried in the car the whole way to work. I feel like all I do is run in circles with my weight. Ive been thru TWO surgeries and cant get past 230lbs. Im going to send my nut an email. Get some bloodwork done I guess. Im so lost. I just dont get it. I havent lost ANY weight since I was 7 months post op. Im now a year and a half out.  WHAT THE HELL? Ive had bloodwork, metabolism tests (said I was perfectly normal) thyroid tests...normal.

Oh, and to top it off, one of my Cymbalta rolled down the drain. UGH. The most expensive Rx I have...

no point in listing what Im eating today. Doesnt really make a difference. Maybe I'll come around later.

Mary, I'm wrapping you up in a BIGGG hug

Its probably a good idea to let go of the food focus today, reset your mind on the positive things going on in your life...It is sooo frustrating feeling fat & so hard to break away from letting those feelings control your day - I struggle with is too, all the time...

Reality is progress, keeping doing what you are doing & you will see progress, I'm sure of it...It may be the same old broken wheel to hear this BUT - muscle weighs more than fat and if you are working out hard than you are building muscle + you already know muscle building demands more water = retention, on the positive side, once the muscle is on board your metabolism improves, which means your body is working more efficiently to burn the calories you eat ...

Strength girl! You can do it...

To Tess : sometimes the best exercise is the things we do not really count as exercise, like packing - housecleaning - and sex ...

B : protein coffee & 2 mint cookies ( darn girlscouts)
S : fru fru coffee
S : power crunch pb creme protein bar & extra creamy pb spread on top ( love my pb )
L : dannon greek with added banana, nuts, dried cranberries & kashi go-lean crunch
S : nf/sf kahlua custard
D : looking at Mexican (datenite with hubby) have Arroz con Pollo on the brain...
CARDIO : 1 hr Zumba

Totals :  881 cals / 75 carbs / 63 protein NOT including the cals from dinner

Have a great weekend everyone, will try to make it in to post on Sat & Sun (for once)

Good afternoon Botts:

Busy morning, had to do blood work and a follow up...and a ENT appointment to find out I am suffering from Acid Reflux.  But all is good.

I will work out later this afternoon or evening with 45 minute Wii Active Tennis.

Eats today:

Breakfast: Protein Shake and coffee so they could draw blood
Snack: None today
Lunch: Skinny Banana Split (that I didn't have for dessert last night)
Snack:  No sure if I will be hungry before dinner so I do have these thin Almondia Chocolate Cherry Biscuts (4/130cal) with maybe a 1/2 of a protein shake (using one scoop of powder not two)
Dinner: Salmon Burger with 10 baked Steak Fries
Snack: Strawberry and Fat Free Cool Whip
