Good Morning BOTTs!

This weather really is something. Im LOVING it! Hopefully it doesnt snow next week or something crazy.

So, I had my bootcamp class Monday night. O.M.G. tough. We ran. RAN. Ive always wanted to run and plan on a 5k this year, so apparently Ive been thrown into my training. Well, thats one way to keep me from putting it off out of total scardeycatness. We ran a lap around the shopping center, did sprints, high skips, butt kick things, push ups, dips and walking lunges. We did 3 rounds of this followed by ab work. I was last, slow and I saw stars a couple times, but I finished and didnt puke!! I'll be doing this on Mondays for 5 more weeks. YIKES!

Yesterday I had my trainer appointment yesterday as well. Same trainer who runs the bootcamp. I was so happy that I shared my session with someone closer to my level, but that was tough as well especially considering I was so sore from the running. I talked to her about what I had been doing and eating and about WLS. I didnt get too much 'talk' time, but she reassured me we would get the scale moving. I have another appt with her next week.

Needless to say, I can barely walk today. Im very slow, but know I need to stand and move at my desk so I dont get too stiff. OUCHIE!!! Today will be my much needed rest day!

Eats for today:

Coffee w/ cream
Banana and Quest apple pie
Cheese stick
Chobani yogurt w/ PB 2 and Pure Protein bar
Apple and cheese stick
Grilled chicken and asparagus

Sounds like you had an awesome workout.  I bet that trainer will be peeling pounds off you in no time.  Keep it up.

Love the new avi... I am glad you liked the boot-camp... I am way too old for that...
(mentally- do not like people pushing me farther that I would push myself - back problem thought me that not all pain is good and some may make me immobilized for days if not weeks...)

So, very happy this morning.  My protein powder arrived pretty late last night.  So needed a fix.  I've always have started my day with a shake since my surgery and that's been what almost 12 years come July.  So, not having it for 4 days was really hard to adjust to.  I am a drinker...coffee and shake every morning and a protein bar or fruit before lunch.

It will be 75 degrees here again today already did a 30 minute Tae Bo PT24/7 work out, once the stove repair comes and goes this morning I will take a walk outside and not hit the gym today. My winter classes are almost over in two weeks  and I have two papers to write and a group project to assist on, so I have to get it together and just get it all done in the next few days. (10 more classes and 12 months to go and I'll have my Masters).

So my eats for the day:

Starter: Coffee
Breakfast: Fruit Smoothie with Diet V8 Splash and a shot of Miralax
Lunch: Protein Bar - Pure Protein Revolution (Chocolate Peanut Caramel)
Snack: Protein Soup & 4 Magic  Pop Chips
Dinner: Mini Baked Sweet Potato with a Baked Stuffed Clam
Snack: Protein Bar - Balance (Chocolate Mint)

So, when are you going to get that stove fixed?  Did they have to order a special part for it?  That is so exciting about getting your Masters.  My daughter is thrill that she is finishing up next week with her Masters.  She will graduate in May. Whoo Hoo!

Well, it's not like I use it mush.  But the stove has cause my carbon monoxide alarm to go off three times in the past few months and I've had to call the fire department each time.  Since I sublet it's up to my landlord to talk to the management company to get someone out here to look at it.  well, the repair was to be here between 9am and noon.  It's not close to 11 am so I'll give him to noon and I want to get out side.

It great to hear about your daughter.  I have spring break come up in three weeks and this round of classes will be over at the end of the month.  I still have 10 classes and 12 more months to go.  I just hope I can find a good job paying me what I feel I am worth.  I went back to school after my last employment contract ended September of last year.

The market is tight in NYC I am starting looking at relocation else where.  New York isn't my home I came here 6 years ago on a contract assignment and stayed.  So, I am looking to move closer to home which is Milwaukee, Wisconsin so the Chicago area would be ideal.

Beautiful here, too. Hope to get a long walk in tonight with the dog and maybe family. Daughter was up for 3 1/2 hours in the middle of the night. When she was out of her crib, she wanted to play, nurse, and watch "George" (Curious George). When I put her back in her crib, she would throw her cuddle blanket and pacifier out, then cry hysterically.  Long night.

B - protein coffee (should have gone for the caffeine)
S - protein shake
L - tuna with tomato, celery, onions, mayo
S - pepper jack cheese, veggie salad (chopped cucumber, tomato, pepper, onion, feta, dressing)
D - unknown protein & veggie
S - Zone Perfect protein bar

Doing great on water and vitamins (that's one thing I have always done well) but really suck in the exercise department :-( .. and I like it and how it makes me feel! I may have to forgo some sleep and get up 40 minutes early to get on the treadmill.
