Good Friday Morning Botts:

It rained most of yesterday and all last night.  I got up this morning to go work out and the temperature was 40 degrees.  Yesterday morning it was 76 degrees.  No wonder my family is staying sick with colds.  My cardio and eats for today are:

5:15 AM 1 hour walk on treadmill

Prebreakfast:  Coffee & Miralax
Breakfast:  Chocolate Unjury Protein Shake
Snack:  Quest Chocolate Brownie Bar
Lunch:  Pure Protein Peanut Butter Bar
Snack:  Beef Stix & Cheese Stix
Dinner:  Steak Taco
Snack:  Vanilla Protein Pudding

I hope everybody has a beautiful Friday.  Remember those vits and fluids, the weekend is tomorrow!!!!

Morning Everyone! TGIF!!

This weather is crazy, but I'll take it any day over snowmageddon!

Gym was crazy hard last night. I really dont understand what the heck my body is doing.  I hopped on the scale this morning and am down 2 lbs! GREAT! But still confusing. I wasnt so anal about my food this week, but I did ease up on the fruit. Im at 1 or 2 a day instead of 3 or 4.

Anyway...eats for today:

Coffee w/ cream
banana and Quest Chocolate PB
We are supposed to finally be having our work lunch today, so maybe I'll get my bison chili
Cheese stick and packet of almonds
Not sure whats for dinner...

Tonight is my off workout night. My last Saturday Zumba class is tomorrow, and gym on Sunday.

Have a GREAT weekend!! I am looking forward to being lazy and sleeping alot :)

It looks like the weather travels from you to me... I know what to look forward to...
Today is raining, and relatively warm. I slept some more last night, and finally this morning got a complete BM (I get really constipated when I travel)

Also - not as hungry as yesterday.  All is great.

coffee with almond milk
protein shake with greens
pork loin with greens
quest bar
nuts and papaya
some fish and veggies
sunflower seed

Need to do some laundry tonight and clean the house.  BF will be staying in his house (I do need some R&R) but we will get together on Saturday and Sunday.

My cat is getting older (5 years old) She misses me when I am out of town and stays really close and needs to cuddle when I am back home.  He also loves my BF and will get his attention on Saturday and Sunday. On one side - I love the attention, on the other I do feel guilty when she gets so clingy because I know I had not spent enough time with her.

I do... but I hope it will get dry.

Greens- since I can't eat a lot of veggies, I add some greens to my shake. Some taste really good, others - it is an acquired taste. Once you get it a few times and your body realized that it gets a lot of minerals and vits - somehow the taste buds adjust and I do really like it.

I use 2 types:
1. greens gold from amazon (my friend hook me on those) I do love that one. It is sweet but does not have sugars that bother me.  Very mild taste, beside the light green color - and sweet taste - you won't even know it is there. (IMO)

2. Supperfood (really good - really strong on b's and other minerals - usually get a flash - extra energy if I add too much  ) That one have a very strong flavor, and a little grainy. Need to use my magic bullet and still have some grit left (the flax and other full herbs) This is just dried sprouted herbs and "stuff" very powerful. I take that when I am really depleted, or when i am out of the Greens Gold,  and do not start with more than1/2 TBS for a small shake.  Slowly can increase to 1 or 2 TBS when I try to do all liquid diet or try to recover from some serious issues.

Intersting, how many added calories does this add to your day?  I wasn't able to find any information.

Insignificant amount. I think the supperfood is like 50 cal per 2 TBs. There is no sweetener added - so unless you are really used to it - can't drink that with just water (I can't - my friend can) 
The Greens Gold - not sure.. It can't have enough of sugars since it does not trigger my dumping. The scoup is small - 10 gr - so the most it can have up to 5-8 gr of sugar - all from fruits or veggies - that will be no more than 20-40 cal per serving (or less). I use that instead of fruits in my protein shake. And since I use almond milk (1 carb or less) and no milk and no fruits - then the total shake has app 40 gr of proteins (1-2 scoups), 1/2 cup almond milk (unsweet) app 30 cal, and rest the calories from the greens. I try to get app 200-250 cal per shake - if that is my morning meal.

Thank you for the info...I am going to order the Green's Gold and give it try.  If I can adjust to it I will get for my mom who's 68 and suffer from the joint pain and low energy because of the joint pain.

Good afternoon Botts:

Well, it's been a long day.  Doctor appointments most of the late morning and subway problems this afternoon.  But all is well my INR's are finally in-line today.  Still need to do weekly follow ups, however, the doctor did sign off on a at home testing monitor just faxed if off to the vendor and will wait for the insurance to approve if not I will purchase the monitor myself.

Todays eats are:

Breakfast: Fruit Smoothie
Late Lunch: Pure Protein Bar 300cal/28P
Snack: (2) Mini Slim Jims
Dinner: Leftover Beef Steak and Mushroom from last night & 1 Cup of Veggie
Snack: Vita Top Muffin Top - Blueberry Bran.

Today I weighted in at the doctors office after a two pound subtraction for my cloths was 199#....YEA ME!
