Tess had asked for the stats on the Rockin' Roll bar, "The HI-Protein Nut Roll Bar." The “Nutty Peanut Flavor" has peanuts, nougat, and caramel and tastes a lot like a Payday.   Serving Size:  70g Servings per bar:  1 Calories:  290 Calories from Fat: 150 Total Fat: 16g       Saturated Fat: 3.5g       Trans Fat: 0g Cholesterol: 5mg Sodium: 350mg Potassium: 150mg Total Carbohydrate: 25g       Dietary Fiber: 6g       Sugars: 2g Protein: 21g Vitamin A: 0% Vitamin C: 0% Calcium: 4% Iron:  8%   “This Rockin’ Roll" bar contains only 2gof Insulin-Impacting Carbs. Only these carbs should count in your low carb diet, since the remaining 23g of carbs come from glycerine, fiber, and polydextrose – which all have a negligible impact on blood sugar levels."   I don’t fill up easily and I ate a whole bar for a snack (should have only eaten half considering the calories) and was not hungry for dinner. Made by Labrada and I found them at GNC. They are expensive ($2.50; $1.99 if you have the GNC card and buy the first week of every month).   I’ll leave it to you BOTT experts as to whether this is a good one for us. Hope so J

It sounds great... but it is not for me. I has sugar alcohols, soy and splenda.  And all of those affect me not in a nice way.  But it should be fne for most people.
I will stick with quest natural bars. (and protein crunch bars)

It sounds really tasty but a little high on the calorie side for me.  I try to get 1 protein gram to every 10 calories when I am doing protein bars and shakes.  It gives me the biggest bang for my buck.  This does sound like something that my hubby would enjoy though.  He loves payday bars.  Thank you for posting this information.

It definitely is calorie-high, half a bar would be sufficient.  The suggestion about 1 gram of protein to every 10 calories is VERY helpful - thanks!  I love these little tidbits of knowledge.
