Back On Track Together
IF YOU COUNT CALORIES AND EXERCISE
I use an app that takes excercise into account, but on a separate line.
I aim to stay within the 1200 calories that I allow myself per day without taking into account the excercise. On the occassional day that my calorie intake is over the 1200 mark, its good to know that I've burned it, so I dont stress too much.
My personal 'rule' is to not drop below 900 calories with excercise burn included. Eventually as my cardio/strength training increases (and as I get closer to goal), I'll have to increase my calories so that I stay over 900.

The app includes all of the various nutritional categories (sugars, trans fats, sugar alcohols, etc).
I concentrate on (and actively track) my calories, protein, total carbs, fiber, net carbs (total carbs minus fiber), and fat, but the rest of the info is good to have.

Calrie cycling is where you change up your calories every day so you dont eat the same every day causing your body to become accustomed to a certain amount.

Im not counting carbs (at the moment) I eat fruit, and whole grains. I do try to stay away from white stuff/junk. But, I like my treat at the end of the day too! Usually some WW fudge bar or something.
