Good Morning!
Still battling the sleep issues, and withdrawls from Cymbalta.  It's been a rough week.  I've decided to just do Protein Shakes and Dinner for the rest of the week.  Hope all is going well with all of our BOTTers!

Good Morning!

Deb, hope you are feeling better soon!!  How bad is getting off the Cymbalta? Ive been thinking about maybe trying something new as my Rx is running $50 a month.

Weighed in Saturday. Down one more lb. I was a little disappointed since I lowered my calories from at or below 1600 to at or below 1450 (Thats 32 WW Points Plus down to 29). TRYING hard to not let it get to me. A pound down is a pound down in the right direction. Thats 8 pounds in 5 weeks with 4 in the first week.

I had two NSV's yesterday. While I was shaving my legs I saw MUSCLES!! Not 'making' a muscle, just showed up all on their own! AND I actually got blisters from lifting my weights yesterday. Thats really not an NSV, but makes me feel badass!

Eats for today:

Coffee w/ cream
Banana and warm peanut butter Quest Bar
Apple
Baby Carrots and Quest Bar
Orange
Grilled Chicken and garden salad w/ toasted almonds
WW Fudge bar

Zumba tonight!!

Hi!
Eight pounds is FANTASTIC!!!  It sounds like your WW plan is doing it's job!  The Cymbalta withdrawl is a bit difficult.  I've been experencing some brain zaps, double vision and  memory and confusion, more than usual.  It's going to take about 3 weeks to fully withdraw from it.  But if it helps me sleep, it will be worth it in the end.
Keep up the good work, you're doing a great job!
Keep on BOTTing!

Hello!

I know once you tell me, I'm going to say "duh" but what does NSV stand for?  Sounds like a very good thing!

NSV is non-scale victory!

Something great that has happened that is not a number on the scale. Fitting in smaller size, being able to tie your shoe without becoming winded, fitting comfortably in an airplane seat...that type of thing.

Cool beans!  It's great to celebrate those victories and not soley focus on the scale. Thanks for the insight.

B: orange, scrambled eggs
L- salad with oil and vinger dressing
S- Pure Protein bar
D- chicken 3oz black beans 2oz, queso, and 2 hearty thin crisp kalvi
S- Carrots and laughing cow light swiss.

Wish I didn't do the dressing on my salad, it added a lot of calories and fat that just aren't worth it.

Hi!
Just a tip I learned many years ago.  With the dressing on the side, I dip my fork in the dressing and then take some salad.  It tastes exactly the same as if it were on the salad.  You'd be surprised on how much you don't need!
Good luck!
