So my sugar has been dropping like crazy even these past few days that Iv'e been eating healthier! Yesterday it dropped 3 times and I was weak all day. I called my surgeon's office and talked to them about it, I told them what my diet has been looking like and that iv'e been eating some fruit. The nurse told me that I'm eating too much fruit and that I should only have about half a banana a day. I never thought of that! Today I haven't had any fruit and I feel lots better, no sugar drops! Not saying fruit is bad or not good for anyone I guess my body just doesn't handle the sugar well. I hope this resolves the problem and I can get some of this extra weight off.

Fruits affect me also. Some more.. some less. I eat some... but follow the following rules :
Never eat them by themself, always with fat and proteins.
Never more than one serving in 6-8 hrs.
Limit drastically or really limit the portions of fruits that I know can affect my blood sugar : banana, melons, grapes, oranges, pineapples, etc. Most fruits with high glycemic index or glacemic load (Google if you don't know which ones are like that)

But there are fruits that are ok for me... most of the time - again I still have to make sure I eat them with fat and proteins.(cheese or nuts)

I agree with Hala.  I have a half of a small banana in my morning shake sometimes and twelve grapes with cheese and crackers in the afternoon.  I dump on oranges and orange juice everytime.  I can ea****ermelon in small quantities and I am not a berry person so I don't do those.  I have learn to respect the fruit.
