Good Morning!
I got my results from my Psychiatrist from the sleep study.  I not getting any REM sleep.  He said that he's not seen a study like my in a very long time.  He thinks that it's being caused from Cymbalta. I'm slowly being weaned off, hopefully it will help me get some sleep.  My food for today:
Early snack (it's 1:30 a.m.) - bagel thin
Breakfast - 2 mini frittata's
Snack - protein drink
Lunch - ham, cheese and pickle rolls
Snack - protein drink
Dinner - chicken w/veggies
Snack - fage w/l.f. caramel

Hi Deb & Botts:

Deb, I am glad that you may have an answer to your sleep issue.  I don't know how I would make it with so little sleep and not really good sleep at that.  I hope you are able to get off the Cymbalta and find your way back to a healthy night of rest.  My eats and cardio for today are:

5:15 AM 1 hour on Treadmill

Prebreakfast:  Coffee & Miralax
Breakfast:  Chocolate & Bananas Shake (Chunky Monkey)
Snack:  Brownie Quest Bar
Lunch:  Apple Pie Quest Bar
Snack:  Cheese, crackers & Grapes
Dinner:  Steak Taco
Snack:  NSA ice cream sandwich

I hope everybody has another great day today and don't forget your vits and fluids.

Deb, thats pretty interesting. Im taking Cymbalta as well...and starting another non sleeping cycle. Cant wait to see if that helps you!! Fingers crossed. Are you going to switch to something else?

Worked hard over the weekend at the gym. Im still determined!!  Friday ended up not being so bad food wise. We had to cancel our work lunch and I really didnt eat much at all out Friday night. Too busy catching up. Today is my off workout day. Im off on Tuesdays and Fridays. Considering signing up for bellydancing classes!

Eats for today:

Coffee w/ cream
Kashi Go Lean Oatmeal and pear
Garden salad and Pure Protein bar
Muscle Milk and banana
BLT wrap on Flat Out rosemary/olive oil flatbread and melon slices
Protein shake of some type

Morning Deb, Tess and everyone else.
Still on the ease out from Master cleanse.  I'm not anxious to start solids as you always gain a few pounds.  I will have orange juice today and adding Unjury chicken soup and maybe a few blackberries.  Calories were very low yesterday and my carbs were cut in half so I felt a little tired.  Took vitamins.
Cardio - 10 minutes on treadmill and 10 minutes on crunches.

Glad that you are getting somewhere with that.  Hope all will be well soon.

I can sleep... but get to bed too late and I end up having issues getting out of bed.
Took a lot of time getting ready today... but I set up my vitamins (morning pills) for the next 2 weeks.  If i do not take my "extra" (multi and calcium I get later during the day) I overeat.  I guess the pills get me full first thing in the morning.. (there is handful of them- b's and extra minerals for weak thyroid, and good oils, probiotics, etc, etc, etc...) .  I also got my B12 shot... and did laundry and empty the dishwasher.   Cat did not wanted to go out... guess she is taking a day off..  If I get an owner like me or my friends... I would like to come back as a cat - in my next life... a few years or rest could do me well...

Eats:
coffee + almond milk (+  vitamins)
power crunch bar (the one that was allowed today)
Japanese lunch
beef cubes and veggies...or mayo
Japanese dinner.. (got vouchers that I need to use..)
LNS: pork loin + veggies...

BTW: I am craving fat lately... really wanted some mayo.. but all mayo in the stores are made with soy oil ... ALL OF THEM.. That is too bad... I do try to avoid soy as much as I can... (affects my thyroids) So now I will have to make my own mayo...

Some of you that are sensitive to soy (anyone with thyroid issues - or sluggish thyroid) watch for that.  Soy and soy derivatives consumption may affect the thyroid, making the hormones less effective, and less of it.  Low hypothyroid (even not clinically low) may cause weight gain, low energy, depression, hair loss... just to name a few symptoms.  Low iron may cause low T3.. (TSH and T4 can be good but the effective T3 - may be low)

B - Skinny mocha, two eggs with canadian bacon and cheese
L - Cheeseburger macaroni
D - ?  Maybe Pork chops with green beans.

Exercise:  Just Dance 35 minutes.
