Thursday, February16th, Cardio & Cafe

Good Morning Botts:

It is going to be a lovely day in my neighborhood today.  My eats and cardio for today are:

5:15 AM 1 hour walk on treadmill

Prebreakfast:  Coffee & Miralax
Breakfast:  Chocolate Unjury Shake
Snack:  Quest Brownie Bar
Lunch:  Pure Peanut Butter Bar
Snack:  Cheese & Crackers
Dinner:  Chicken Quesadilla
Snack:  NSA ice cream sandwich

I sneaked a peek at the scale this morning and I am down 2 more pounds.  I won't record though until Sunday.  Have a great day and don't forget your vits and fluids!

Good morning everyone! I think I have early Friday syndrome today...

Great job on your loss Tess!

We had a sub instructor for Zumba last night. It was interesting to say the least. I was sweating alot, but I dont think I earned it as much as I usually do. Too hard to figure out what the heck she was doing!

Thanks to Hala's recommendation, Im going to try to get in more protein today. So, my eats will be:

Protein shake: Almond milk, 1 1/2 scoop Body Fortress, 1 scoop Click, 1 tbsp instant coffee, splash of vanilla extract.
Followed by a banana
Small Garden Salad and Atkins bar
Orange and cheese stick
I totally forgot I had Click, it was hiding on top of the fridge. Never tried it warm. Going to try today.
Lean Cuisine steamer bag (YUM!) and my last Atkins bar!

Hitting the Gym tonight.

Tax money came in yesterday..yay! Going straight to the Quest site to order some bars today!

It is gloomy here today... yuk... I usually don't feel "love" on days like that... the sky is coming down... And I have a headache. 

 But life does not wait and as much as I would like to stay in bed with a book and the cat and my cup of coffee (or tea) ... I am at work.

Eats today : 
wrap with cheese
more cheese with SF preserves
sunflower seeds
protein bar (power crunch - my quest bars not here yet)
meat and veggies soup with extra egg whites

going to see my friends and not sure what she is going to cook for me... and not sure if I can even eat that. Lately - my pouch shrinks at evenings, and if it is not a slider food - I am really limited how much solid foods I can eat (meat, fish) Usually not much - 1/2 cup and I am full.. and if I try to push that - I end up in pain.  Not sure what that is all about, but I deal with it.

Exercise... yea... not happening today..

 Okay Hala.  Drop your pencil on the floor 10 times and pick it up (chair sit ups) then go to the files, and file one document 10 times (file cabinet push ups).  Okay, you are good for the day.

lol.. I will skip the pencil... maybe another day...

When I say no exercise... I meant no scheduled cardio... I kind off exercise as I go...

My every day stuff - exercises (that I even do not think about) was
- chasing my cat around the house this morning for over 10 min.. (she gets bored - I need to play with her)
- All day I do abdominal muscles crunches. Some days (like today) I have a belt to remind me I need to suck my gut in.. It works. And helps when my insides hurt .. That's actually why I started doing them post op RNY - when I got hernia.
- morning I did my neck exercises. (I look like an alien when I do that , but at 50 I have very little neck fat or wrinkles)
- Walked 4 times up and down one flight of stairs (home)
- walked between our 2 buildings (at work - down and up hills)
- once I will be at my friend - will walk at least 2x or more 3 story stairs (they have a huge but narrow house... many levels and we are on all of them.  Kitchen is on 3 rd, main living room on 2nd, parking - where my car is - hill and i set of stairs...

- and last but not least - had to go to pharmacy - so intentionally parked my car far away (a habit now) and walked to get the stuff. But they did not have what I wanted to I have to stop at another one today or tomorrow.   Arguing with the pharmacy help-girl that the 1 ml was not on prescription, and that they need to transfer it - got my energy going ... elevated heart beat, BP, heavy breathing (to help with frustration - when I do that - it helps to calm me down and not to call them "stupid morons" - that I know they are... lol.. ) Finally talked to the real pharmacist and she had no problem to transfer the script exactly how it was written and not how they tried to dispense it.

Vent:
My doc prescribed B12 - in 30 ml bottles (that thing will give me 30 dosages = 25- 30 weeks. (one+ ml per week)
They did not have the correct dosage so they decided to dispense one (1) 1 ml bottle (for what they think was one month). For the same copay. Yea... not happening.  
At the same time they told me that the 30 ml vials is not longer available.  Yea, B***t!  Costco has them now, and my other CVS  (checked)
 I end up not picking what they have but have it transfer to Costco (vit B12 - 30 ml multiple) .

Well you definitely got your cardio in and I hate dealing with morons especially when they do not listen to what I tell them.  Some times we half to make allowances for days like these.  I hope the rest of the day goes ventless...
