Just thought I would check in. Haven't for awhile. Last Monday I had a panniculectomy/abdominoplasty/hernia repair. A very tough surgery but I'm slowly getting better. I'm trying hard to focus on protein for better healing. My exercising will be on hold for awhile but I will start some serious walking when the DR approves it. The running will have to wait awhile.

Good to hear from you.  Congratulations on your surgery.  I have not had any skin removed yet but have had a hernia repair.  Take it easy and slow and you will do fine.  Be sure and don't pick up any thing heavy for awhile.  I work with construction and made the mistake of picking up a 10 lb. can of paint and hurt for several days afterwards and I was over 2 months out.  Please check in and let us know how you are doing.  Go back to some protein shakes to help with your healing.  I would at least get my protein up to 120 grams a day.  It really does promote healing.  Have a great Sunday!

Glad you doing OK.
I had lower body lift and it took me long time to recover from that. My iron and RBC, ferritin tanked after that surgery and I was really tired and depressed. I could not get the iron to come back with supplements. I needed iron infusions. Only after I got that I felt better. You may ask your doc to run full set of labs including full iron panel and thyroid pannel (full)
After any major surgery some numbers are really off and they can be quickly corrected (iron) or you can add supplements to help other numbers.

Good luck on recovery...
