Good Morning!
I can't wait to get my results from the sleep test.   I can't take too much more of this 2:00 business!  I plan on trying to work on my WII fitness today.  My food plan:
Breakfast - bagel thin w/honey
Snack - protein drink
Lunch - ham, cheese and pickle roll ups
Snack - strawberries
Dinner - chicken breast w/veggies
Snack - fage

I like your new avatar Deb.  You look really good in red.  My eats and cardio for today are:

5:15 AM 1 hour walk on treadmill

Prebreakfast:  Coffee & Miralax
Breakfast:  Chocolate Unjury Shake
Snack:  Quest Brownie Bar
Lunch:  Quest Coconut Cashew Bar
Snack:  Chocolate Unjury Shake
Dinner:  Chicken Quesadilla
Snack:  NSA Skinny Cow ice cream sandwich

Have a great hump day and don't forget your vits and fluids.

Tess,

Since we were discussing RTD protein drinks, I wanted to let you know that I now love the Muscle Milk shakes. I had banned them because what I had tried I thought was awful. I tried the LIte version. The regular are much better...or maybe something changed since I last tried them a year or two ago. The strawberry, vanilla and chocolate are all yummy. Im a convert.

Good Morning!

Im happy to say I hopped on the scale and am down another pound today! That switch in my head finally flipped and Im on a roll. Even went out to Chipotle for dinner last night and stayed on plan. That showed me I can go out to eat, two nights in a row...and eat well AND stay on plan!!

Ive also decided that Im going to tackle a 5k this year. I think Im just going to have to find one and sign up for it and just do it. Last year I did the 60 mile walk, so I think I should be able to do a 5k. And run, not walk. Ive already started working on my strength training. A couple more weeks of weights and I think I may be ok to start trying to train.

Eats for today:

Coffee w/ cream
Cocoa roasted almonds and banana
Pure Protein bar, baby carrots and pear
Muscle Milk Vanilla and clementine
Not sure whats for dinner

Zumba tonight, but calling for snow. Zumba is via Parks and Rec, so if its cancelled I may hit the gym instead depending on the weather. Not expecting it to be much.

You are doing great!  I am thinking of doing a 5K too!  I am trying to get my husband on board so we can walk together this spring.  Keep up the good work!

Please keep us posted on your sleep study.

My sleep problem is my cat... She thinks that on weekdays I need to be up 15-30 min before the alarm to pet her.  She wakes me up between 5:30 and 5:45.... walking all over me, so happy when I finally open my eyes.. And MAKES me pet her, scratch her nose, and all the other places... But she is so happy when she does that... and does not respond to gentle "I need some more sleep" suggestions.. Usually 5-10 min of her "singing" to me and walking all over me... makes me so  awake that I give in and play with here.  And since she is really sweet and I am not home that much - the guilt make me do it.
But she know when it is weekend and sleep right with me (us) with no problem... not sure how she knows it is weekday...

Got up today at 5:30, took care of cat massage.. and organized parts of my closet... I have so much stuff... And removed the unpaired socks.. (how do we lose just one sock???)
Eats:
coffee + almond milk
raw pumpkin seeds
protein shake
beef or meatloaf with cucumber
yogurt with proteins blueberries and flax
chicken (side dish), cheese stick
more beef
protein bar (as dessert)

I have decide that we have cosmic mices that somewhere out there they are using all our missing socks as sleeping bags.  I just wish that sometimes that they took the ones with the toe out and left me some of the newer ones.......

My daughter and I are doing a 5k - Walk in April.  My 1st one and I am excited.  

Tess......thanks for the encouraging words yesterday - I spent most of the day feeling bummed but today I am re-energized and ready to continue on. 

Weather is cold and a combo of snow and rain in WV today.
