Hi Botts:

We are sad at my house today.  My beautiful white cat went to cat heaven last night.  I held him in my arms when he passed on.  I did get to enjoy him for 11 years.  He will be greatly missed.  My cardio and eats for today are:

Prebreakfast:  Coffee & Miralax
Breakfast:  Shake
Snack:  Bar
lunch:  Bar
Snack:  Grapes
Dinner;  Chicken
Snack:  NSA ice cream

We are buried my cat shortly so I did not go work out this morning.  I will try to get some cardio in later.  Don't forget your vits and fluids.

 Tess,

I'm sorry about your kitty, very hard to go thru the last stages of life pets & people...

I haven't been on to post most of the week...Caught a virus & have been off food since about Tuesday...On the bad side, what I have been eating has not been very good choices, not enough protein & veering on the side of sweet or salty - on the good side I'm not gaining , I'm not counting the loss on the scale cuz I know it will come back when I start eating regularly again...Been trying to drink at least 1 high in protein drink a day & had a bite of dinner every day...

Having a non-fat latte right now, don't know what the rest of the day will bring...Hope to be back on track with food and cardio by Monday...

Have a good weekend BOT buddies

Hope you feel better soon. Its SO hard to be "good" when you are sick.

All I want is buttered toast, crackers and wonton soup when Im really sick.

ouch... Sorry to hear about the kitty.... I have one.. and she is  my babe... so I can understand... (HUGS)..

did good yesterday and got groceries after work.  I was able not to buy wine... lol... but got a lot of meat, veggies, and some fruits...
Roasted the beef last night... and I made it really salty.. so my weight may show some upward movement next few days - but my BP will be higher so I can function better... always a trade-off.

My appetite is back to normal, so eating right and right qty - would not be a issue.

eats:
coffee+ coconut milk
beef roast (lean, sliced), cucumber (repeated 2 time in the day - with very dense lean proteins I can eat maybe 1/2 cup before I need to stop)
protein shake (maybe)
cheese stick (maybe)

dinner out: not sure what... but some veggies and meat.. or fish..
LNS: beef slices...

I will be nibbling all day on the beef.

Tess,
I am so sorry to hear about your cat :( Hang in there...

I got on the scale this morning and I am down 2.3 lbs since Tuesday.  Woo-Hoo! I feel good and not as focused on food.  I didn't get to make mini meatloaf yesterday but I am making a double batch today and freezing some so I have it in the freezer. I have been relying on Boca burgers for a low cal high protien meal. They are ok but not as tasty as real meat :) Here is the plan...

Protien coffee
B: 1 egg and 1 egg white and a laughing cow
S: Strawberry and yogurt shake
L: Mini Meatloaf
S: 2-3 hard boiled egg whites with a little mircle whip
D: Mini Meatloaf or dinner out with the fam. I have a meeting at school so we will see...
S:  Greek yogurt with sf pink lemonade mixed in with splenda

Have a good one!

Congrats on your weight loss........keep up the good work!

do you have a special recipe for the mini-meatloaf or do you use a standard meatloaf recipe.  I am always looking for a good recipe for something different.
Have a blessed day!

As a matter of fact I do :) I found it on pinterest.. Here is the link: http://www.foodnetwork.com/recipes/ellie-krieger/moms-turkey -meatloaf-recipe/index.html
I made mine in a muffin tin and I added carrots and celery. They turned out very moist so if you like a thicker meatloaf maybe add some bread crumbs or more oatmeal.  Also, I would put a little ketchup or BBQ sauce on top instead of the tomato sauce for more flavor.  The blog World According to Eggface also has a ton of meatloaf ideas. I plan on trying the pizza meatloaf soon. I think my kids will love them!  Each "muffin" has 61 calories, 9g of protien and 1 gram of fat (approx. according to livestrong.com). I plan on eating 2. I already had one for a snack. Soooooo good! Give it a try!

So sorry about your cat.  I know how much animals can enrich your life.

Breakfast: Protein Coffee
Snack:  Cocopop waifer with an egg, Morningstar sausage patty, and 1/8 c shredded cheddar
Lunch: Canned salmon, tomato, and edamame salad with oil and vinegar
Snack: String cheese and celery

There'll be a couple cups of decaf in there, too.  Not sure about the evening because I'll be travelling.  I have a bag of Beef jerky to take with and maybe I can pick up a piece of Kentucky Grilled Chicken on the road?

I'm feeling like I finally turned a corner with this thing.  I'm not craving things so badly and my head doesn't really hurt anymore.   I haven't felt much of an energy boost, but I don't feel as tired as I did earlier in the week.
