Good afternoon all

What is your daily calorie range are you all are trying to stay between.  I have stayed the same for 2 weeks and mostly my fault......fell off the wagon a few times.  I am keeping my food journal on sparkpeople.com and they suggest my calorie range from 1200 to 1580.  I think the 1580 is too high.

I was just curious if you anyone is also tracking their calories as well as their protein.

Here is a list of my settings:
Calories - 1200 to 1380  (sparkpeople said 1580 - I lowered it 200 calories)
Protein - 80 to 90 grams  - from my Dr. plan
Carbs - less than a 100 grams - I set this.
Also tracking Net Carbs - I set that between 25 - 50 grams

My meal plan (took this from Unjury.com - "Unjury Stick-With-Able Weight Loss"
Breakfast - protein shake/bar
10 a.m. snack - protein shake/bar (if hungry)
Lunch - Meat, and veggies/fruit (if desired)
3 p.m. snack - protein shake/bar (if hungry)
Dinner - Meat, and veggies/fruit (if desired)
Evening Snack - protein shake/bar (if hungry)

Maybe I over think everything - but I am a thinker and planner - and need a plan :)

I am also doing 30 minutes of cardio 5 times a week.

My WLS surgeon has quit practicing bariatric medicine; so at times I feel like I am out on a limb all alone.  My personal physician is helpful but not like the staff was at the bariatic clinic.

So.......I would like to know what your plan is.

Have a blessed day!

Hi Janet:

We doing close to the same thing except my calories are from 1000-1100 and I am exercising 1 hour a day, 7 days a week.  I have been on my own since 6 weeks after WLS.  My Surgeon retired right after he did my surgery.  What I have been doing has been working for me, almost back to goal.
