It is going to be a warmer day in Mississippi for me today. My eats and Cardio for today are:
5:15 AM 1 hour walk treadmill
Prebreakfast: Coffee & Miralax
Breakfast: Chocolate Unjury Protein Shake
Snack: Quest Brownie Bar
Lunch: Quest Coconut Cashew Bar
Snack: Cheese, crackers & Grapes
Dinner: Steak taco
Snack: NSA Skinny Cow Ice Cream Sandwich

Good Morning!
Early day today. Had to be in the office at 5am. ouch.
Im proud to announce that I stayed on track yesterday AND went to Zumba! Im so proud I made it to Zumba. I had a coverup tattoo done on my ankle/foot over the weekend and its been a little swollen and I was worried about getting my socks and shoes on. I ended up just wearing non skid socks and it worked out great. Im so happy I didnt just stay home and prop my foot up. I think the movement actually got my blood flowing and helped with the swelling.
Tess, I also took your advice and highlighted my calendar. Yellow and pink. Yellow for the days I stayed on track and pink for the days I worked out. It is a great visual to show where my weak days are/have been.
Today's eats:
Coffee w/ cream
1/2 banana early
Other half banana and Weight Control Oatmeal
I made a shake, so I guess I should drink that!
Not sure whats for dinner tonight. The husband has been doing the majority of the cooking since he lost his job
Maybe Zone bar for dessert.

Well.....today was weigh-in day and I should be thankful I haven't gain anything....stayed the same - no lose. But here is why.......did not exercise all week due to shoulder pain - I could had walked but was feeling sorry for myself. Saturday was a bust.....too many carbs and junk food....and I paid for it. The week before I was good but had too many almonds and Unjury fudge. I did not realize how many calories the Unjury fudge was......Had to quit that.
I saw on the Revolution (show) yesterday that if you tend to over eat then get the food out of the house you tend to over eat on. The Unjury fudge is good and so is the cocoa roasted almonds.....won't buy anymore for a while.
So today is a new day.......today starts a new week........got up late this morning and the first thought is "I will do my 30 minutes on the treadmill tonight".......then I said NO! Do it now! Do I did; got the kitties fed; protein supps packed for work - showered and got dressed - drank my protein shake on my way to work and actually made it here with 15 minutes to spare. WooHoo! I was moving! And even got my morning call from my Grandson in

Be kind to yourself. You saw what your weakness was and you took care of it. That unjury fudge sounds delicious, I would ask for the recipe but I know that would be my weakness too. It's a new day and a new week and you are starting off with a clean slate and no gain from the week past. That in itself is a success. Cardio for the day was week 3 day 2 of couch to 5k. And I lifted weights before doing my cardio. I need to start working on planning my meals out better. That is my goal for today, to get tomorrows planned.
I joined a workout challenge at the Y this morning and committed to at least 30 minutes of exercise a day for three days a week. Currently I have been doing more than that. I do the couch to 5k on Sun, Tues, Thursday and do water aerobics on Mon, Wed, and Sat. Friday is my day off! Plus I'm going to throw in lifting weights at least two days a week.
