Good morning... It is raining here... was raining yesterday.. so my cat will use litter box... she is such a princess..
Doing already better today.  Yesterday was tough.  I was hungry... but followed the diet.  Not pain but a pressure reminded me every few hrs why I need to do that.
Evening with a BF was a highlight of the day...
Did some shopping at Costco - to get stuff I can easily fix on next week strict diet.  Still identifying foods that I can eat with no pain or discomfort.  It can be done... I just need to be creative...lol.
I even baked plain protein muffins this morning (the last batch has seeds and nuts and too much spice... need to freeze them for later).  Losing the extra is a bonus..  We may go to a movie today... there are a few good ones playing this weekend...

eats:
coffee + al milk
protein muffins
protein shake
yogurt with proteins
vegetable -chicken soup...
 Some cheese sticks.... as snack...

I need to make 2 different batches of soup for variety - one butter nut squash soup, one chicken veggies.  So glad I like cooking and improvising while cooking.  Make life easier...   Adding some eggs to them (like in egg drop soup) will make them thicker and adds proteins... that are needed for healing and to deal with extra malabsorbtion due to the Carafate...

But I take the pills and bland diet anytime to leave that pain and nausea behind.

Snack:   1 serving (12) Tostitos scoops, 2 tablespoons of Tostitos chunky mild salsa

Lunch:    grilled chicken salad, 1 oz. of Pepper Jack cheese, tomato, honey mustard dressing

Snack:    protein bar

Please keep the snow up North.  I do not look forward to any down South.  It is cold here today so I only venture out twice today.  This afternoon, I treated myself to a 2 hour nap.  I love Saturdays!!!!

Hi to All,

Its a rainy, quiet afternoon at my house...Got to get on the computer, track my food for the day and post it here so that makes 2 thumbs up for me...All week have done pretty well at sticking to my 850 cal plan, weekends SOOO much harder because I usually have no real food plan and only 1 meal a day on weekends is pre-planned...I know this is my downfall, no excuse but weekends are really busy doing all kinds of things that mess with a plan for food...True to form, the term lunch is a pretty loose description on what I ate during the mid day - it was more like a 3 hour graze in the right time frame to call it lunch, still I managed to track most of it, so I have a good idea where the total cals for the day is going...

B :  venti sf/nf starbucks latte with gingerbread, caramel & vanilla

L (? loosely) : couple (3) bites of D/H meat stuffed pizza (thin on crust, lots of meat and cheese) & a mini savory cupcake (BBQ & Bacon, yes thats right it was a savory cupcake ) & 6 -7 french fries & 1 homemade shortbread cookie & 3 sample bites of cheese & lunchmeat (at the deli counter in the grocery) & a fried lrg shrimp

S :  2 prunes

D :  pot roast with roasted fingerling potato, roasted baby onion & glazed carrots

Cardio : 2 1/2mile walks with the puppy @ a pretty nice pace

Total cals : 921

Hi Alesia:

Sometimes I have a grazing day because I really want something else and cannot justify eating it.  Sometimes it is just better to have it and get it out of your system.  Good job on the walk and your pot roast sounds wonderful for dinner.  Have a great evening.
