Good Friday Morning Botts:

It is a wonderful day in the neighborhood and that got the thermostat fixed at the Gym.  Yay!!!!!  My eats and cardio for today are:

5:15 AM 1 hour walk on Treadmill (500 calorie burn)

Prebreakfast:  Coffee & Miralax
Breakfast:  Chocolate Unjury Protein Shake
Snack:  Pure Protein Chocolate Bar
Lunch:  Quest Coconut Cashew Bar
Snack:  Cheese, crackers & grapes
Dinner:  Tuna Salad on Whole Wheat Sandwich Thins
Snack:  NSA Skinny Cow Ice Cream Sandwich

Edit:  I got taken out to lunch and had a grilled chicken salad with lite honey mustard on the side.  I ate my Coconut Cashew Bar for snack and the pure Protein Chocolate Bar for Dinner.  I will save the Tuna Salad for another day.

Good Morning TGIF!!!!

Tess, glad they got the thermostat working. I can only be so heated while Im working out. Im sure that feels much better.

I successfully stayed in my calorie range yesterday. Yay! Im sure its because I was busy and didnt feel too well, but hey...I tracked everything :)

Today's eats:

Trying to get down a shake. Almond milk, Body Fortress Cookies and Cream with a scoop of instant coffee. Been a while since Ive had a 'real' shake. Its going down slowly

Apple
Last of my pot roast and carrots
Zone Perfect bar (Chocolate Caramel Cluster) if needed. Maybe I'll save it for dessert.
Grilled chicken wings and salad for dinner

Zumba in the morning however, they are calling for ice overnight so Im hoping its not canceled.

HI!! Last year was my first walk. I LOVED IT! It was tough, but its the most rewarding thing I have ever done.

My partner walker is pregnant now, but Im hoping she will decide to walk again this year. The two of us were great together.

We walked in DC in October. My toenails are still purple and I just got feeling back in my one numb toe around Christmas from nerve damage. I'll do it again in a heartbeat!

That is awesome!!!! This was my 3rd walk  :D
It becomes very addictive.
I decided to do the walk when I was going through my divorce.
Trying to do something positive in all the negative and found healing in it all.
Maybe I will see you one day!

The gym certainly felt better today.  Great news about staying in your calorie range.  I have a calendar at work and everyday after I work out, I mark that day with a large yellow X.  It is a great motivator for me to see all my pretty X's.  When we chart our food, it is another great motivator to see that we stay within our goal.

Thanks Tess, Thats a great idea! I have a calendar hanging right in my face here and Im going to go thru and mark the days I stayed on plan and the days I went to Zumba. Maybe that will help with the motivation.

Thanks for support Tess and the rest of you guys. It helps...
Taking loads of Carafate... and some other meds... I am not in pain ... but the pressure and bloating is definitely there... lol... my body way to remind me to be really careful.   I am m listening...

carafate with warm green tea
coffee + almond milk
protein shake (almond milk based)
more of the same
yogurt with proteins
will drink some chlorophyll (green drink) and most likely some aloe vera juice... (yuk....)
dinner - may attempt some chicken in chicken broth.... or fish with mild veggies...

Plan to cook a really nice soup this weekend... I bought ground beef. and turkey.. so instead of making meatloaf .. I will make meat balls... and cook that in a soup... My BF will get his in tomato sauce...
BTW: he makes this amazing jambalaya.(modified so i can eat that). He made that this week... and I was looking forward to eat this weekend... but... with all those spices and sausage... it is not really a good food for me... crap... Well... he promised he will cook that again in 4 or so weeks... when I am ready to eat that...

I can do bland for a short period but then I really crave something with a kick to it.  I can not imagine drinking aloe vera juice.  I did not know that it was even made in a drink.  Take care.

HAPPY Friday !!

Dinner out last night was de-lish and the company even better

B :  protein coffee & 1 mini lemon petit four
S :  fru-fru coffee & 1 mini lemon petit four
L :  leftovers from dinner out, 3 small babyback ribs & a cucumber sliced with salt/pepper
D : dinner out again, Friday nite is regular date night for the DH & I, will share something, I'm
      wanting a sweet potato so will probably include that as part of the meal, otherwise
S :  2 prunes before bed

Cardio will be 45 mins of butt kickin' ZUMBA & about 1/2 mile walk with the puppy...

Total cals before whats for dinner = 484
