Tuesday, January 17th, Cardio & Cafe

congrats on the weight loss!  Loss of 1 lb here.  Every little bit counts.

B - protein drink
S - didn't have one
L - salad and lasagna
S - protein bar or carrots
D - unsure

Missed the gym today as hubby surprised me and took me out to lunch.  Might try to get something in tonight but will see.  Have not been sleeping well and that is an issue.

 Good morning...day off today (which are by far the hardest to stay on track)...

Breakfast...coffee 0 points even with the creamer...
Snack/Lunch...2 scoops of a protein shake, 52g's of protein, 6 points...
Snack-yogurt-3 points
Dinner-crab and shrimp pasta salad-6 points and a chicken patty-5 points...
Dessert-rice pudding with splenda 4 points for a half a cup =c) 

My total points is 24/27 and I feel like I'm eating a larger variety...which I think is a good thing.  I never would have contemplated the pasta salad before but it has almost 12g's of protein in a serving.  The serving is actually a cup but combined with the chicken patty, I won't be able to eat a cup...so I doubt there are as many points there...but we'll go with what the serving should be and I'll eat till satisfied and concentrate on listening to my body instead of my head...

And I want to find these NSA ice cream sandwiches...that sounds so good!!!

They are good.  I get the Skinny Cow Brand No Sugar Added ice cream sandwiches.  130 calories and 2 grams protein.  This is my treat for the day.  I look forward after protein all day long for my carb and this is it.

I'm so sleepy today! Keep trying to doze off here, but if I nap I probably wont sleep well tonight.

Exercise:
Cardio Boot Camp 6-7

Breakfast ~ cottage cheese & blueberries
Snack ~ 2 SF pieces of chocolate
Lunch ~ part of a fajita salad and a few chips
Dinner ~ leftover meatloaf
Snack ~ protein shake

And of course fluids and vitamins

Cardio for the day- week 2 day 2 of couch to 5k.  So frustrated that the scale still hasn't moved, think I might have even gained a pound.  Everyone keeps telling me it could be muscle, but I want to get back to onderland!!!!!!!

Try to weigh only one time a week.  Weighing every day will frustrate you and get you dissatified with what you are doing.  It will work, just give it time.

WOW Tess! you are doing an amazing job. Iv'e been lurking from my droid but didn't post,I just got my internet today after moving. I was right at 140-142 right before Christmas and I don't really know what happened but iv'e jumped up to 149. I know that my  diet hasn't changed and I'm still doing my cardio so it's driving me nuts. The Dr. put me on a new birth control in November and I quit using it in December so I'm hoping that it's just my body re-adjusting. I'm going to maybe do the 5 day pouch test and then go back to 800 cals for a while. I don't really want to call my surgeon just yet, hopefully I can get this extra weight off! I don't want it to turn into more.
