It was great! I took a Joseph's Oat Bran/Whole Wheat Pita Bread 60 calories and put two teaspoons of BBQ sauce on it. I used Tyson's southwestern chicken strips, cut into little bites around 110 calories sauteed with 1/4 of white onion chopped up in about 1 tablespoon BBQ sauce. I put this mixture on top of my pita bread and added 1/4 cup shredded cheese on top 100 calories. I put the "pizza" in the preheated oven 375 degrees and baked for 10 minutes. It was so tasty and very, very filling. Total calories were 300 and protein was 36 grams. Awesome! I will be having this again.
Weather report for here in Maine...Snow, Sleet, Freezing Rain and now Howling Winds. Temp forecasted for tomorrow night...20 below zero!! Winter is here!
Decided I would try an exercise dvd again today and when I stood up to get ready to exercise, I twisted my knee..again! So I'm off to get a knee brace tomorrow for more support, have ordered a pair of Sansha Salette Jazz shoes to use for doing Zumba on my carpet (no more knee twisting) and will do some exercises until then that won't over-use my knee. I refuse to give up!
Today's exercise..ALOT of Housecleaning and Scrubbing, enough to work up a sweat.
