Thursday Cardio/Cafe

Good morning BOTTers!
Not quite sure, but I woke up today with pain from my middel back to my ankles.  According to my recent bloodwork, everything looked ok.  Will try to get some walking in, hopefully later.  Interestingly enough, I've been hitting my BodyBugg goal everyday. 
My food for today:
Breakfast - crustless quiche
Snack - protein drink
Lunch - ham and cheese rolls
Snack - protein drink
Dinner - not sure, GD's birthday
Dessert - eeny,meenie piece of cake

Good Morning Deb and Botts:

I have been hitting my goal too of burning 500 calories a day on the treadmill.  Did you do something different on exercise yesterday that could have pulled your back?  Sometimes I can sleep wrong and wake up with a pulled back muscle.  Hope you feel better today.  My eats and cardio for today are:

5:15 AM 1 hour walk on Treadmill

Prebreakfast:  Coffee & Miralax
Breakfast:  Chocolate Unjury Protein Shake
Snack:  Quest Brownie Bar
Lunch:  Quest Apple bar
Snack:  Cheese, crackers & Grapes
Dinner:  Chili
Snack:  NSA Skinny Cow ice cream sandwich

Hope everybody has a great Thursday.  Cold with snow flurries here today in Senatobia.  Don't forget your vits and fluids.

Hi Tess,
Do you put the Miralax into your coffee?  I'm now taking 6 Senecots S pills a night and think that it's time to try something else.  The only problem, is I'm afraid of another bowel obstruction.  Does the Miralax really work with one dose?  As far as my back, I have a buldging disc, I've had the shots and meds and it doesn't work for me.  That's why I've gone back to Yoga.  I'm hoping that a few more workout will start helping.  I don't want to go on any pain pills, but I don't think that I should be taking many more Aleve.

Deb, have yu try magnesium?
I use magnesium and ... fiber and fat... (nuts- sunflower seeds). Realy works well for me.

 Hi Deb:

I was having a big issue with constipation and got on line with Vitalady and Lady Tazz and they recommended what worked for them.  I take 1 dose of Miralax in my coffee each morning, I take two magnesium oxide tablets (one in the morning and one in the afternoon) and in the beginning I would take two stool softeners in the evening.  After about 4 days my system kicked in and I was able to stop the stool softeners and instead take 1 teaspoon of benefiber in my protein shake each morning.  I have had a regular BM for over 7 1/2 months now.  Before it would go on for 5 or more days without a BM and I was just miserable with cramping, swelling and painful BMs.  Now I go everyday and I am a very happy camper.

I'll take a look at Vitalady's site for the magnesium oxide, never heard of them.  Hopefully this concoction will work for me!

I felt like a zombie yesterday!  I missed one of my cups of coffee and I went off track with dinner; roast beef and sauteed cabbage and mixed veggies...Portion was too big and I paid the price.  It's nice to know though that I can still pay the price...I think sometimes we worry that there's no more restriction...well, I'm no longer worried =c)

Breakfast 2 cups of coffee...splenda, NSA syrup, creamer
S-protein shake
L-portion controlled!  Beef and cabbage
S-yogurt
Dinner-beef and cabbage
S-yogurt or fudge pop...yogurt sounds better.

Hope everything get's what they want accomplished completed =c)

      Nature does her best to teach us. The more we overeat, the harder she makes it for us to get close to the table.
