cool cool cool

word of advice: I needed to allow myself to break the diet once in a while. I picked a treat that was good for me, one that I could justify eating.
For me that was dark - very dark chocolate.  75 or 85 or 90% chocolate. The 75% - I can have 2 squares (they are big). The 85% or the 90% - I can have as much as I want (trust me - 1-2 squares and I am good).  But I keep it in the cabinet. And I have to get up and get one square at a time, and only if I really want it.   That limits how much I eat. And since some days I rather stay on a sofa - I get only 1 piece...

The other treat for me are low carb fruits - berries - I can have some but have limit for a week. So if I get frozen - I divide that into weekly portions. If I get them fresh - the 16 oz - will not last 2 days. But I know I can have that.  (mixing that with fage yogurt with some sweeteners - is so good)

Due to my RH - I learn to eat late. Late snack - is the last meal of the day. It is cheese or  nuts. (premeasured), Again - I do not feel deprived and do not  get up very hungry in the morning.

That helped me.  "optimized snacks and treats " to stay focused.
