Back On Track Together
It Kinda Feels Like...
Good Morning Everyone...
I think that this is a great group... I just have a tiny suggestion... alot of the information and articles seems to be targeted toward people that have had the RNY and I think there are people here (myself included) that have had a different surgery. The rules for other surgeries are not all the same... it seems as if there is a one size fits all kind of advice...
Just and observation... I guess part of the point is that people are getting back on track which means they are not new in the WLS arena.. I was just thinking that it would be nice if there were more information out there based on the different surgeries that are out there....
IMHO!

I have noticed that the information that is posted here is from what that person is familiar with. I post about RNY because that is the surgery that I have had. I really would not have any information that I could post about the DS, that would be something that I think a person that is getting back on track after several years would be familiar with and post about. I think mainly, we are just posting about what is helping us as individuals and what can be taken from that, so that it would benefit the person reading that post. But any and all posts from all surgeries are welcome to post what is working or not working for them.
Glad you are here. You can help other DS people. And amybe put some info toward DS foals.
There is more RNY overall WLS than DS. And I think higher % of RNY are faced with regain.
As Tess said - we write on what we know.
I don't think anyone who is on her is "paid" to write and help others.
Saying that - I do try to help DS person if they have a question that I may know answer to.
