I was wondering if Tess was sleeping in? I have decided to add some fun to my supplements. By the way, when you take calcium carbonate with ascorbic and citric acid the acid liberates the calcium and makes it absorbable which is why some people take calcium citrate. For me viactive is cheaper and more tasty. the metamucil cookies were $8 for a 12 day supply...eeek! I may have to eat oatmeal...ugh! Here is what I actually ate. It is about 1500 calories...those samples at Sam's club did me in!
B: eggbeater sandwich, eyedrops, lisinopril, biotin, lutien, flinstones mtv
S: eggnog cheesecake (nut crust)
L: 1 1/2 slices boarshead low sodium ham and a slice of fat free cheese, sandwich thin, veggie soup
S: samples at Sams club, grapefruit, a viactive and a metamucil cookie
D: 2 toco bell tacos, veggie soup, viactive and a metamucil cookie
S: eggnog cheesecake, veggie soup, eyedrops, 50 mg benedryl, 1 senna, vitatmin C and a viactive
Just me

Hi Botts:
I started out with a pretty good morning exercise wise, but my cat has been sick for two days and I took him to the vet. I found out he has FIP viral infection and only has maybe a month to live, I have been down since then. They are giving him steroids to build him up a little and then we are going to make him as comfortable as possible. What a way to end the old year.... My eats and cardio today are:
7:15 AM 1 hour walk on treadmill
no breakfast
Snack: Brownie Quest Bar
Lunch: probably another bar
Snack: ?
Dinner: having a lot of appertizers at New Year's Eve Party. I am choosing the protein ones
Sorry for the downer. Don't forget your vits and fluids.

First of all I love all animals. I have had 3 dogs and 1 cat in my life. My current dog is 6 years old and healthy, but my last dog was 14 when we put him down. His last 2 years were not very healthy. When we (the whole family) took him to the vet, they started an iv in his leg and after we all kissed him good bye he fell asleep on a blanket. The vet asked my husband for her stethescope she pronounced him. We all thought he was still sleeping...he never moved a muscle...simply fell asleep. I was so worried it was going to be horrible but it was peaceful and painless for him. Now I regret keeping him going the last 2 years.
My point being that if your cat is going to feel badly for his last month please don't hessitate to have the vet put him down. He will just fall asleep like a general anesthetic but not wake up...no pain.
I will pray for you and your family because losing a pet to me is like losing a family member. I am so sorry

I had to change things up today:
I didn't eat the apple.
Supper totally changed, and I got totally full before I finished.
So for supper I had a chicken sausage but I couldn't fini**** so I ate maybe half, and some black eyed peas - we are from Texas... so the peas were green not dried. Anyway I only ate about a fourth of a cup.
My plan it so have a protien hot chocolate later to make up for protein loss.
Still that will get me to only about 900 calories but 91 grams of protein.
I worked my butt off today cleaning on my house! I scrubbed my kitchen and rearranged some things, did laundry, mopped... a lot of work I'm not used too...I think I'll be sore tomorrow!
