Good Friday Morning Botts:

I had an awesome workout today.  I walked on the treadmill on random from 3.5 incline to 5.0 and speed of 3.2 to 3.5 and burned 430 calories.  Heart rate was 126!  That puts me in the fat burning age of 20-30 years old.  Not bad for this 52 year old. Yay!!!  My eats and cardio for today are:

5:15 AM 1 hour walking on treadmill

Prebreakfast:  Coffee & Miralax
Breakfast:  Chocolate Unjury Protein Shake
Snack:  Quest Cinnamon Bun Bar
Lunch:  Quest Vanilla Almond Bar
Snack:  Cheese & Crackers/Biscotti
Dinner:  Wendy's Chili
Snack:  NSA Ice Cream Sandwich

I hope you have an awesome day too.  Don't forget your vits and fluids.  Have a great New Year's Eve for those that don't check in on the weekend.

 Tess

Today for my cardio I have to dust and vacuum the first floor, clean one more bathroom and the kitchen.  That is about 2 hours of sweating.  According to OH that is 465 (light cleaning) calories!  My long range goal is to clean out and remodel the basement.  I want it to look like a locker room.  I saw it in a picture once.  They painted the ceiling and first floor joists black and installed those lights that have metal cages over them.  My husband has his weight lifting equipment downstairs so (myself being a Packer owner) I will put all the Packer stuff (over the years we have a lot!) on the walls and around.  Whether it turns out doesn't really matter.  It is a lot of exercise hauling unwanted stuff over the stairs!

B: eggbeater sandwich
S: eggnog cheesecake and a grapefruit
L: 1/2 can chicken breast with fat free miracle whip, sandwich thin and veggie soup
S: 6 oz. turkey meatloaf
D: 1/2 can chicken breast with fat free miracle whip and tortilla chips
S: eggnog cheesecake and a grapefruit

I wish I could!  If you'd see my basement you would understand this is a whole winter long job .  This weekend I have a Packer party/Christmas party I have to clean and cook for!  Just me

Trying to get back on track - here I am for the first day.

I planned my food last night so here it is.

Breakfast: Greek Yogurt/ blueberries
Snack: Click
Snack: McDonalds Iced Coffee (an indulgence I am working on getting rid of but for now I'll work it in)
Lunch: Carrots, apple, cheese stick
Snack; Isopure
Supper: Fuzzy's soft shrimp Taco's

I have to drive six hours today to pick up my son from his college, we will get his stuff in in the car and bring it home.  So that is a lot of car time.  I am horrible to fall asleep.  Thus the apple and carrots.  I really am bringing things I can kinda snack on while I drive.  Also ...LOTS of water.

I printed out the suggesting for getting back on track.  I am writing them into the Journal I keep in my purse.  That way I will always have them with me to refer to if I need to and I internalize things better when I write them down.  I started last nigh.  I also made it first person... So, What do I do that makes me want to eat? etc.

Here is hoping for a good day!

Glad to have you on board.  You took the biggest step just by starting back on track.  Congratulations.

I'm so excited I had to check back in...I did it!

My totals for the day are:

Calories: 1052
Fat: 21
Carbs: 90
Protien: 112

I drank so much!  I calculated 130 ounces.  That included the coffee and protein drinks, water, Propel, tea --- but NO SODA.  That is so huge for me!

I didn't say... absolutely not to soda but I know that is is something I want and need to cut out!  I have been having horrible heart burn problems and I really think the soda's are the culprit but my food has been so horrible that there really is no telling!

Exercise will come - I did help my son carry the stuff from his dorm room to my car today - that was three trips.
