Got too comfortable

Hello All,

Here I am 100 lbs lighter and almost two years post op. but in a plateau of my own making for the last six months.  You see, I have felt so good and have met so many goals that I lost sight of the bigger goal, namely, getting down to my goal weight.  Hence, I've rejoined OH.com , am planning to attend our local support group meetings, and am going back to the core of what I need to do to get the remainder of my weight off.

Here are my goals:
1.  Document my food intake, notably, my protein
2.  Exercise with more intensity (I have exercised moderately for the last year)
3.  Keep drinking my water
4.  Journal so that I can catch new triggers that drive me to want to eat.
5.  Take my vitamins daily and get plenty of sleep.

Congratulations.... I am exactly where you are (only 4 years)  .... You will do well as you begin this new phase of the journey.  
Current Mini Goal 10 lb weight loss = January 31, 2012 goal = 162 lbs

Major Goal = May 25, 2012 goal = 145 lbs     total weight loss 148 lb

Welcome to back on track group.  We all seem to get off track because we get so comfortable where we are.  I so want to hit my goal this time too.  We are all close in our goals so we know that it is doeable.  Check in daily and do the things that you listed and you will definitely succeed.

great words of encouragement.   It always helps me to know that I am not alone in my struggle and that someone else is experiencing the same challenges, and yes we are all so close...it is doable.  Let's do it!

Thank-you for the encouragement.  Reading people in this group has been inspirational.  In fact, when I saw the name of this group I thought, "Oh yeah, I'm joining this group." ha ha

My wish is to be as inspirational to the fellow members as they have been to me (which has been a lot).
