Wednesday, November 30th, Cardio and Cafe

Happy Hump Day Botts!

Can you believe that today is the last day of November?  I remember as a kid that time just seem to drag and I remember my mom saying that when you get older, time will  fly.  Well, believe me, when I say it is flying non stop for me right now.  My eats and cardio today are:

5:00 AM 1 hour walk on treadmill

Prebreakfast:  Coffee and Miralax
Breakfast:  Chocolate Unjury Shake
Snack:  Brownie Quest Bar
Lunch:  Peanut Butter Pure Protein Bar
Snack:  Cheese and Crackers
Dinner:  Grilled Chicken and Ranch Beans
Snack:  NSA Skinny Cow Ice Cream Sandwich

I hope everybody has a fantastic hump day.  Take those vits and drink your fluids especially in all these chilly, cold days.

So we unexpectedly got tickets to the Washington Capitals hockey game last night, so it was a late night for us.  Didn't get home and in bed til midnight, didn't sleep well as the doggies were restless due to having been home alone all day.  Not feeling great today as I am over tired and exhausted.  Hoping to make it the whole day but might take some sick leave.  But I am excited as today is my 6 year surgiversary and I have been getting lots of compliments on the changes in my body this week.  I haven't really lost a lot of weight but boy is my shape changing.

B - protien drink
S - donut (ugh, tiredness craving)
L - salad   **actually ended up having pizza with a side salad, but ate too many slices
S - carrots or apple  **oh hey, another donut
D - meat & veggies of some kind

hoping I have enough energy to hit the gym......

Definitley letting the emotional eating get in the way today.

 Hi Courtney:
Congratulations on your six year surgiversary.  It is hard to believe that much time has past since you had surgery, right?  I will be out six years in March so you are just a little ahead of me.  It is nice getting compliments, enjoy them to the fullest.

Coffee, tea, water

Cardio: Lap swim at the Y and arthritis exercises.

Note: For the past two weeks I have been weaned off  vicodin. I'm finding that while the pain in my knees is more noticeable, it's also tolerable. I wasn't taking a lot of vicodin, but I was suspcious that perhaps *it* was causing more and more of the "pain" I was taking it for.   From now on, the vicodin is staying on the shelf to be used only  when I really need it.

trying to get in all my water. i hate taking vits, havent taken them in a while. they make me shiver just thinking abuot them =(
working horses tonight. yesterday ended up working my mare for a good 2 hours she was being a snot.

Eats:

B-Egg Beaters w/turkey bacon & cheese, green smoothie
S-Banana bread, string cheese
L-Turkey bagel, detox salad
S-Quest bar
D-Buffalo chicken, salad

Cario:

1 Hour on treadmill

Noticed my calories were high today, right at 1600 for the day.  I am realizing I am in full blown PMS mode today. High calories, crampy, irritable with the entire world and just have felt off since last night. I even noticed how short I was with the grandbabies last night and that is a very rare thing.

Going to be sure to get my fluids & vitamins in and avoid the general public today, hopefully the women's gym will be empty and I can just chill and enjoy my treadmill time.

I SUCK!    I don't know why but really in a funk.  I guess it's approaching the anniversary of my husbands stroke and he looks so old.  It's like the stroke just sucked the life out of him. You would think that would motivate me to eat right and stay healthy.  I am sure I will shake this off, but feel I have to come here and be accountable....good or bad.

We missed you...Good or bad we love hearing from you each day.  I kinda got in a funk earlier in November, it was the anniversary of my mother passing.  I know though that she would be proud of all that I have accomplish with myself.  My mother also suffered a stroke that completely paralyzed her on her left side.  I was her primary care giver for seven years so life was not always "sunny" if you know what I mean.   You are in my thoughts, this too shall pass...
