 Hi Cajunbuderfly:

I hope you are feeling better now.  It is not any fun to be sick during the holidays when everybody else around you is having a good time.  Work on your water, you are doing good.

Hi Just Me:

I am assuming that you are talking to me.  If not, I will share anyway.  I have lost 57 lbs. of a 70 lb. regain.  Originally,I weigh 306 lbs. and lost 151 lbs.   I used to maintain 155 lb. all the time.  With my regain, I gained up to 225 lbs.  I am now back down to 168, actually 167 lbs. this morning but I do not post until Sunday.  I hope to lose another 17 lbs. to get to 150 lbs. to have a normal BMI.  I am 5'5" tall.  We can all lose our regain, our pouches are not broke, they just need to be reset along with our minds.  If I can do this, I know we all can.  Somewhere inside all of us is the willpower that we need to excite back to that beginning stage when we first had our surgery.  Our tool is still there, we just need to believe in it again.

Hi Tess
Yes I was talking to you.  I have a different situation in that I have no stoma (diagnosed with xray and egd) 25mm since shortly after surgery.  I am too afraid to have any more surgery though.  It never goes right for me.  I do need to eat 6 or 7 meals a day.  If I stay away from junk and eat a lot of veggies, I can limit to 1600 calories usually.  I had 4 1/2 hours of facial plastic surgery in Jan. that really put a wrench into exercising and I gained to around 210 lbs.  Some of it had to be corrected and redone in July.  I still have a lot of throbbing in my forehead, eyes and nose.  I have been able to get back to 185 frequently but I want to weigh 145 my normal BMI, but would be happy at 165.  I am impressed with your stamina and persistence.  I know that is what it takes.  I also find that this group is helpful and inspiring.  I will post when I am in wonderland again.  In the meantime I hope you and the others keep chugging along too.  Just me

Thank you Just Me.  I know you can reach your goal.  It does take persistence.  I have found that by believing in myself, I know I can achieve whatever it is I need.  This group is so awesome and we are all here to help each other and not tear each other down.  I believe in you.  I know you have a lot of set backs to overcome but you are worth the effort.  take care and hope to hear from you soon.
