I just wanted to share and let everyone know that I am grateful for being given a second chance to make my tool work for me without resorting to a revision that I couldn't afford.  I am grateful for my wonderful family and extended family.  I am grateful to OH for making this site available to all of us to share, post and lurk.  Without this message board, I not sure where exactly I would be right now.  I wish everybody a safe and Happy Thanksgiving Day and weekend.  Don't eat to much, don't spend to much and love the ones you are with and those who are across the world away from us.  Keep all our soldiers safe and get them back home to their love ones and friends.

What a beautiful post!  That makes me feel very warm inside and extremely grateful to you and everyone who is a part of this group.  Kathy S., I am thankful to you for starting the challenge...it has made me very accountable and I was finally able to truly get back on track.  I am more of a lurker, but I take to heart everything that is said and especially the support, no matter who it is directed to.  I am grateful for the guidance and I know that I am in control of how I treat my pouch in order to stay in control of my life with regard to my weight loss surgery success.

My wish for all BOTTS is a Peaceful and Harmonious Thanksgiving time.

Very Sincerely,
-Gaby

PS
I am grateful to my surgeon, Dr. Armando Joya, who gave me my new beginning August 18, 2008.

From listening to others posters on the main board, I understand that you need to increase your fluids and this will flush off the excess IV fluids in your system.  It usually takes about two weeks.  I am sorry that you have been ill.  I hope you are doing better and can have an enjoyable Thanksgiving Day.  Take care.
