I did it!!

I don't usually toot my own horn, but this time I gotta!! I am pleased (and SHOCKED) to announce that for the first time...um EVER in my 36 years (ok maybe that first year when I was 7 months old) nary a piece of Halloween candy touched my lips!! And not for lack of chance either...as we were trick or treating ALL THREE kids offered me candy, and one of my daughters even offered me her WHOLE SNICKERS BAR! (my previous fav). And I was hungry (hindsight I should have had some almonds or a cheese stick in my pocket duh) too. But I resisted that temptation. When we got home, they picked their favorites, and (to the tune of my husband protesting loudly) this morning the remainder was shipped off to the group that makes care packages for our military people. I did it!
