Good evening fellow BOTTrs,
Just wondering, how was the weight loss once you began to get BOTT? Did it take weeks for you to start losing? Was it a slow loss or more similar to earlier on post-op?
Hoping my scale moves some soon (in the downward direction)- that would be a GREAT motivator.
Thanks,
I did not begin with a liquids only or anything like that, I just went back to the basics of protein, veggies/fruit and I do allow more carbs than most as my blood sugar reacts better that way. I have been dropping 2 - 3 lbs per week, as long as I am really staying on track. I am seeing where I tend to mess up on the weekends and gain a bit back so am basically making myself do double and really need to work out a better plan.

Thank you for your replies... I already feel better. Eating right, taking the vitamins (BIG STRUGGLE for me), taking in all the fluids and regular exercise can only help. For lack of my own inspiration, I am following close to what Tess is doing (no pressure Tess!!). Look forward to the results on the scale.
BTW, still trying to manage my pic to get to right pixel etc to add to my profile. Sorry for being "face-less" so long! LOL!

Hey I like seeing your smiling face. We are both about on an even scale now. I really would like to lose 30 instead of 25 lbs. Maybe we can keep checking in with each other on progress and how to fight our temptations. I know with the lost that I have already had that I will really be slowing down. but I think of this new lifestyle as one day at a time. If I not losing then I am maintaining which is more than I did before. I have a large calendar at work that I put a large yellow X on each day that I have been successful with my cardio and exercise. I have to tell you that I only have two none X days. I love looking at my calendar. It is a motivator in itself.

Absolutely! Let's keep tabs w/ each other... sure makes it easier to know I am not the only one at it!!
I love the idea of the calendar for a visual "tracking" mechanism.
Only two non X days? Awesome!
You know, I see that you get exercise early in the morning. I used to take a class at 5:30AM before my knee surgery. It was tough getting out of bed, but I never regretted going. Maybe its time to get inspired.
Have a great weekend,
