Trying to stay on track, no help from hubby

I am desperately trying to stay on track.  Ate out yesterday at Cracker Barrel, I had salad , everyone else ate bad bad food.   My hubby included.   Then Over to MIL house for cake.  I had none, but did not mind watching everyone eat 2 pieces.   I started my new plan Sept 1, lost about 16 in first 3 weeks, but now at stand still.  So I am not giving up.   I want to lose 30 more pounds asap.   Hubby will not walk or do anything.   Just got to do it myself without him.

Hi Gail:

When I eat out at Cracker Barrel I usually have the grilled pork chop or chicken breast with green beans and a salad.  The calories are low and doable for this meal.  My husband does walk we me in the mornings but I crank up my Ipod and walk in the afternoon by myself.  I actually love this time because it is just about me.  Good luck getting the rest of the 30 lbs off, don't give up.  Come and stay on track with us each day.

Thanks Tess,  I am determined to get 30 off ,  I guess quit eating my  protein bar for awhile see if I can see a loss soon.   I love the OH Yeah shakes from vit shoppe, but I noticed my face breaking out since I started drinking them, It may be choc.

This can be so hard when the family does not support us.  Stay strong...  When you go to Cracker Barrel look on the back and they have low carb meals.  Stay with the grilled foods.

When you know you are going to someone's house and they are going to eat cake take a something with you that you can eat while they are.  Most of all, find a before photo of you when you were your worst.  Scan and shrink it down so you can put it in your purse.  When you feel your resolve getting weak pull that out and look at it. That does it for me every time....

Takecare,
Kathy

Hi Gail,
I know how it is.  I realized that I'm in this alone, after all, I did the damage.  My husband doesn't think about me or my food plan.  Just Saturday, Sweetest Day, he give me a card and box of Fannie Mae Turtles.  Seriously!  So I gave him a card from me and took the box of Turtles and said "Happy Sweetest Day"!
