Saturday, October 8th, Cardio and Cafe

Good Morning BOTTS!

It is a beautiful day here in Mississippi with the weather at 60 degrees this morning for my walk and a high of 82 degrees for this afternoon.  Life is good.  My eats and exercise for today is as follows:

6:15 AM 4 mile walk this morning - wonderful.

PreBreakfast: coffee and miralax
Breakfast:  Unjury Chocolate Protein Shake
Snack:  Pure Chocolate Protein Bar
Lunch:  Peanut Butter and Jelly Quest Protein Bar
Snack:  5 carb smart crackers with low fat laughing cow garlic and herb cheese spread

afternoon exercise:  plan to walk over my daughter's new house site land

Dinner:  going out with family.  Plan on eating roast beef au jus with side salad
snack:  NSA skinny cow ice cream sandwich
bedtime:  1/2 bananas

Good eats today for all my BOTT friends.  Have a great Saturday.

Tess, I love reading your post's! you have great meal and snack ideas. I'm jealous! 60 degree weather and an afternoon high of 82, NOT FAIR! I'm originally from Baton Rouge,LA but moved here to Casper WY when I was 10. We were in Mississippi about a month ago due to a death in the family. It is soooo beautiful there and there's nothing like that Southern hospitality! I had forgotten. Anyways I will be doing mostly protein shakes today, the hubby and I went out last night and I had a few drinks so I will be doing damage control!

Thanks so much.  I hope you do good today on your damage control.  It is good to get out sometimes to eat, I just don't do it very often.  We are planning a night out tonight so I hope to stay on target, if not, I will be doing damage control tomorrow.

I was pretty pleased with myself as I stayed pretty much on target last night, partly as my sister forgot to bring the brownies.

Today, I slept in really late so this is going to be a light day
B/S - protein drink
L- 6 inch ham & cheese on flat bread with lettuce tomato and onions
D - homemade manicotti with salad

And I think I will get in a bike ride around the neighborhood.  Fluid intake is low, only had 5 cups so far.

It is warm and sunny in Kentucky too.  Ive had a busy day but no cardio as yet.  Liquids are going well.  I always have at least 32oz decaf every morning.  The last two cups have unjury protein powder mixed in, works well.
