 Hey Botts,

What is your plans for the weekend?  Let us know what you do to not make food the center of your weekend plans.

The weather here has been to die for (it will be snowing soon). I am going to do yard work, walk the dogs, decorate for Halloween and ride my bike.  I find the more I move the less I want to eat.  It's so nice out I am going to get my husband to do some grillin as much as we can.

So share with us what you do to help you start on track for the weekend?

Have a Bott Day!

Take care,
Kathy

I'm going to my cottage tonight and plan on sitting on the beach, doing some bike riding and going for a run or 2.
I don't have a grill at home, so I'll grill all weekend. I had hurricane damage done to the garage, so I have to think about emptying it out so it can be rebuilt. I'm going to be selling the cottage in the spring, so I want to get in as much beach time as I can.

This is a good weekend for me temptation-wise. Nobody has called to say "let's do lunch...".

And one of my astronomy clubs is hosting a public star party Saturday evening. We set up our telescopes and invite the public to come and look.  The Moon, Jupiter and whatever else  is up.
On Sunday evening, I have another astronomy event to attend.  I expect in-between to be pretty busy with chores, etc, so my only danger will be late Sunday night if let myself get too tired or don't eat enough of the right things.

SO I guess I'm mkaing a weekend menu up today!! If I have it planned and prepped, it will be much harder to convince myself it's easier to be bad.

I went bike riding yesterday and I'd like to get out again today.  I'll be doing a lot of walking tomorrow at a street fair.  Eating wise, I'm going to choose healthy food.  I'll listen to my body for hunger cues and eat accordingly.  I will pay attention to when I'm full and stop eating immediately.  No grazing.

Tonight is tailgaiting with family at our high school football game, it is my girls school against my sister's kids future school.  Food choices (that arenot that great for me) were made before I decided to go BOT, so I will probably hit the store for some alternate choices.  I am already planning to take some fresh popped popcorn (with just a tad of salt) to be my munchie snack.

Tomorrow is assisting my bil move.  Will be getting in some extra movement there but have no idea what my food situation will be like for the day.  Sunday we are headed across the state to check out a college for our oldest, see some nature, and hit a fall festival.  We are going to stay the night and head back home on Monday.  I will make sure to pack healthy snacks for me, water bottles and some protein.  We will be eating out a bunch so it will be important to focus on some healthy choices.  I forgot how hard this is.

I am starting my weekend off with a 4 mile walk early in the morning and then meeting my daughter to go mall window shopping.  We are both watching what we eat so it should be a good food day.  My daughter and son n law are building a new home so we plan to visit the site later.  Saturday evening we are taking them out to dinner for son n law's birthday with his parents too.  I hope to enjoy a lovely dinner high in protein and low in carbs.  Sunday will be a restful day of catching up on some lite housework and an afternoon movie with my son.  Have a great weekend.
