Still Not Back on Track

Hi everybody,

I kept putting getting back on track off until next week. Well, now it's now October and the year is almost over. My highest weight was 351lbs 32/34 dress size (06/28/2007) and lowest weight 224lbs loose 18/ tight 16 dress size (06/2008) and now I have gained about 62lbs back, not working out and now am a size 22.

Because of the weight gain, the old aches and pains along with fatigue are coming back. I have not worked out regularly in over a year.

I have tried so many jump start programs but couldn't stick to it so... Looking for some suggestions.

Also, totally unrelated, does anyone know what i can do if i can't get my profile pic to upload.

Live for today, not next week!  If you eat incorrectly during the day, don't beat yourself up and
call yourself names.  It doesn't help anything and makes you feel awful., We get enough
negative messages from Society;  we don't need to do that to ourselves.

Make your mind up to eat properly the very next meal.  Keep only the foods you need to eat
for your health in the house.  Empty the cupboards of all white foods.  You know the drill!!
Protein First!!

Start NOW!!

We're all in the same place;  we are all here to help one another.  Please come here for support.
I'm fighting my way back from a big regain as well, and I know I don't want to go back to where I couldn't wipe my b*** or walk across the room because my knees hurt.

Find something to do that is fun in order to take your mind off food.  It's an insidious little voice, but
you can drown it out.

Hang in there, Kid.

 Hi Sherry,

Here is what worked for me. Eat and do as you normally do for the next week... BUT  write down everything you put in your mouth, and the amount, and.....what you are feeling or what is going on at the time.  When the week is over sit down and read what you wrote. You will start to notice some patterns.  Make a list of what triggered the bad choices, then "one" by one elimate them. If you can do more at a time and "stick" with it do so.

It took me several weeks before I had a solid plan in motion, but it stuck.  Also, for "me" moving was key.  Start just walking around the neighborhood, mall or stores.  You're body is telling you enough is enough and wants you to get back to healthy again.

We are here for you!

Take care,
Kathy
