Gonna be a tough couple of days

This coming Monday is my birthday and it's gonna  be tough.
Starting tonight Ed and I will be together at my cottage. We always have a few ****tails which I enjoy and look forward to. We like to drink pineapple martinis or something else with pineapple juice. Also at the cottage is a 2.5 pound can of cashews that is already calling my name. Since Ed is working sunday and monday, we are celebrating my birthday tomorrow. We are going to Watch Hill Rhode Island and will have ****tails at a swanky place and then dinner. Luckily he leaves for work sunday morning so I'll head home and hit the gym. I want to get back into running again.
I live with my older brother and all we have is each other. With him he equates celebrating with food. I cannot get him to STOP IT.....grrrr.
He is already talking about buying me a big lobster or going out for prime rib. I would be just happy with maybe a nice steak that we can share at home. Last year he spent alot of money on a sugar free peach pie, which is my favorite but he doesn't like it, so I ended up eating the entire pie myself and I made it last a week, but it was calories I didn't need. I'm gonna have to be super carefull, but part of me is saying what the hell, it's your birthday so live a little.

Don't sweat your birthday.  Enjoy your prime rib, lobster or steak with a nice salad and take the rest to go for lunch the next day.  If your brother buys you another wonderful dessert, enjoy one piece and immediately freeze the rest to enjoy at a later date.  You can cut it up into individuals portions to have on different occasions.  You can do this.  Limit the drinks and work out like a demon the next day.  Good luck.

 HAPPY BIRTHDAY

I am with everyone, enjoy. Lobster is great without the butter.  Grab a handful of nuts and while you are enjoying your birthday weekend go for those hikes I know you love and enjoy.  So any extra cals you enjoy you will burn off.

Your workouts are back on track so again, just enjoy and then get back to the gym my friend!!!!

Take care,
Kathy
