This thing is acting weird today. It only posted a few lines of what I had written so I deleted it and reposted it as a new topic.

Back on track today after an evening at the Irish pub.  Had fun but I paid for it!

It was a cozy little place and the music was good.  I had beer-battered fish & chips with full fat tartar sauce PLUS ****tails.    Got home and into bed, then had to get back up with one of the worst dumping episodes I've experienced in a long time.   I was sweating like crazy and shaking like a leaf.  Went downstairs and fixed myself half a PB&J on wheat and washed it down with some skim milk.  I was back to normal after a few minutes.  Won't be doing that again any time soon.

I didn't get on the scale this morning.  If it was up it would just make me depressed.  If it was down it might encourage me to keep testing the water.

Kathy,

When I first saw your topic I had to laugh!  We have 2 resident raccoons at work that love to dumpster dive, problem is they don't bring a ladder with them to get back out!  We rescue them about every other day.

My stress eating comes around in 2 ways currently.
First, I'm scheduled for PS end of the month.  I have a feeling my iron is too low eventhough I'm religious about taking my vitamins (including iron 4 x a day)  I call my husband every day and have him check the mail for the lab results.  The wait is killing me!!  My PS Dr.'s appt is Wednesday.  It'll feel like a week just to get there.  Drama...
Second, my son is at that rude, crude or otherwise just pain ignorant stage.
He already knows everything and is only 12 years old!
I actually have been letting my husband handle him.  He's a perfect child for him!

Other than that, I can be a boredom eater if I don'****ch it.  8pm is an evil time for me.

Thanks for listening,
Judy

LOL  have U everheard of racoon stew ?

seriously  plesae be CAREFUL - like 90%  ofthem carry active rabies  and a lot of other serious diseases that dont affect them very much but infect  humans like CRAZY .

Unlike say Rats and and Cats and Dogs, racoons havent lived around human populations closely enough for our respective diseasesto make " friends"  and  modify themselves to  non- serious non host killing infections.

I am having a WOW moment...or rather a WOW dump at this very moment. In my wise decision to avoid the vending machine in the afternoons, I decided to bring a healthier choice from home. Just a little light snack of Quaker mini chocolate rice cakes to munch on....DANGER! DANGER! DANGER! My pouch is rebelling like never before. Ugh. Lesson learned. I still have another hour and a half of work and all I want to do is lay down in a dark room and be very still. Needless to say....the bag went straight into the trash can....too little too late for this dumping session, however.

Man this has  been a rough afternoon. Had lunch with work. A little chicken and tomotoes. I have been throwing up all afternoon.  No sick the food is just not wanting to go through. I hate it when it happens.  Usually chicken will do it. So I cut it up real small and eat slow.
Not sure why it gives me so much trouble.
Save calories this way but really not fun.

Rough day yesterday.  Received a call that my 24-year old cousin was killed in a car accident.  My heart just breaks for my aunt & uncle as I remember their joy when she got pregnant with him after trying for so many years.  It just made me cry and want to tear into some cheesecake, instead I took it to the gym and worked it out there.

Hopefully our family can get more details today as to what happened.

I am so very sorry, such a young man.  Very tragic.  Prayers for you and your family.
