My co-workers and my birthday

At work we always order the birthday persons favorite lunch and have a cake. This will be my first birthday (next monday) with these people and today they were asking me what I could eat for lunch that would be ok. They also asked me what kind of cake or something else I wanted since they know I can't have any sugar. I thought it was really nice of them to make sure that everything would be something that would'nt make me sick.
