Back On Track Together

I am reporting in on my week. I joined this group awhile ago and did lose a regain of 17 pounds and kept it off nearly a year and then I noticed another regain of 13 pounds about three weeks ago. I had slacked on my exercise and was visiting the coffee bar for a tea in the afternoon and would also pick up a cookie or a muffin. I was having a late night snack before bed too.
I joined weigh****chers with my sister. I am down one whole pound in 3 weeks! I am not too concerned, I think it is just swelling from increasing my exercise. I got 3 runs in for a total of 11 miles and about 10 miles of brisk hilly walking in.I am looking for a half marathon to do in the winter. I tracked every bite last week and was around 1500 calories a day. I planned ahead for the week and planned meals and brought all my food to work with me.
All in all it was a good week and I will plan ahead again so this next week will be good too!
Hope everyone else has a great weekend!

You are so inspiring.  I am going to the gym tonight to bike, walk and swim.  I love those 3 exercises because I use different parts of the body and most is easy on the joints and feet.  Keep posting your progress.  We need to keep each other going.  Just me

Thanks Dee and Just Me! It was a rough day at work but I did okay and went for a walk after dinner tonight, so the week is off to a good start! Talk to everyone at the end of the week, and good luck to all of us!

 Hi Mary,

Great job! That is a lot of running and sounds like you are really working hard on your goal. We have all been there at one time or another-stopping for a quick bite or drink really adds up-Hope your day went well!

There are three ways of dealing with difference: domination, compromise and integration. By domination only one side gets what it wants; by integration we find a way by which both sides may get what they wish.........
