I originally join this group to lose 17 lbs. of regain.  Due to a stressful personal situation, I lost the added pounds and faded away from this site.  Big mistake!  Now that things have settle down, I have noticed (SURPRISE) that 13 of those pounds have returned!!!   I want to get back to my low end weight of 128 lbs.  I really feel good at that weight.  I still wear the same clothes, but they are tight and not as comfortable.  I have recently joined MyFitnessPal to log my meals, exercise, etc.  This is something that I have never done in the past, I mostly just winged it...thus the regain.  I will be doing the low carb lifestyle (Somersize****il the weight is off and then gradually add back in good carbs.  Before, I just jumped into carbs.  Learned from that mistake!  I will be checking in frequently to learn what is working for you.

Appreciate your support....Dee

I am right with you! I have gained about 15lbs and working on getting them off.  I just returned to the gym this week actually made it 3 times.  Its amazing how much better I feel when I work out but I just don't like to.  I am also trying the low carb its amazing how hard it is when we have been bad, LOL.

Best of luck, Raynetta

Raynetta...You are so right, it is a lot harder than I thought.  Already had a slip up at lunch.  But all I can do is try to get it right for the rest of the day.

Another note, it was so hard to change my tickler.  I just hated to see that marker moved back and not be at goal.  Good incentive though.

Hi everyone,
I am 43 had my gastric bypass in 2001 and lost a total of 130 lbs and stayed pretty steady for a few years then started to creep up the scale slowly.  I noticed that in recent years the weght was coming on faster and then one day I stepped on the scale and it had crept all the way 284.9lbs.I was scared.  I never wanted to reach that dreaded 300lb mark again.  I have had success in losing 30 of those regained pounds since May 19th and feel incredibly blessed to have found the nutritional combination that works for me.  If you want to know more about me and a little more of my backstory etc you can visit my blog site at http://healthy-wealthy-n-wise.com/blog   Also I was a member here many years ago but when I came back couldn't remember my user name, password, email that I signed up with etc so I had to make a new username (trying to get this fixed so I can get back to my old profile which still exists under Wendy H.  I tell people all the time that I would have this surgery every year for the rest of my life to have the wonderful life changes these last ten years have given me but I can tell you when I stepped on that scale and saw 284.9 lbs... my stomach dropped... I never ever want to be there again where I can't walk, or breathe or fit in my seatbelt.  Anyway, would love to learn more about all of you and your journey and struggles and triumphs along the way.  It seems like so many of us get so busy when we get our lives back after weight loss that we stop seeking out the support that got us where we are.... when we need the support the most we don't always seek it out.  I am glad to be back amongst people that understand the stuggles.

Hey Wendy and WELCOME BACK!

I am still a work in progress myself.  As I said earlier, it was so hard to change my tickler from at goal to needing to lose again.  But I have to be accountable.  Please keep posting and we can help each other.

Blessings....Dee

Hi everyone
I joined the group to lose 40 lbs. and now I have almost 60 lbs. to lose.  I had facial surgery in January and it had to be repeated in July.  I am doing much better now and am ready to get into shape.  I am trying to eat very low carb to decrease my appetite.  I need to get to the gym regularly too.  I find I move more when my muscle tone is better.  I always appreciate the support from this group.  Knowing others are doing it with me is helpful.  Just me
