Back On Track Together
Stay focused.
Stay focused.
Life is full of distractions. Your company is downsizing, your debt has become unmanageable, your basement has flooded again--the list is endless.
What is the one thing that would make all this worse? You know all too well. Being obese and ill. Certainly, life can hand us whoppers--challenges beyond what we feel we can handle--but most of your stresses are distractions from what is truly important. Most of them need to take second place to your health.
Action for the day: Are you allowing life's distractions to interfere with living the lifestyle (physically, mentally, and spiritually) that will keep you healthy in the long run? In your journal, write a list of the distractions that are robbing you of the success you desire. Resolve not to let distractions steal your resolve.

I have been away for a while and am back to now lose 60 lbs. You are absolutely right about staying focused. I owe it to myself to reach a normal BMI. Tonight I am going to my new gym. I want to make sure I like the equipment before I give notice to my old gym. The new one is 4 minutes from my house rather than 15 minutes and a nicer drive in winter weather. They also are open 24/7 and have a sal****er pool. It is also substantially less expensive too. I hope you are doing well. Just me
You may want to do a trial run at new gym. Most places give out free week to a month pass. Even if the machines are not exactly like your old gym you may get used to the new gym machines. I know when I moved I had to adjust and now I am fine becaue the convenience is too nice to track farther away for better equipment. On some weekends I go to better location but mostly I go right by my home because it is less than 5 min away. The other one is like 15 min plus depending on traffic.
Glad to see you back and you will get to that normal BMI.
