Started yesterday!!!

Yesterday I began my back on track and so far its been going well.. (although its barely been over 24 hours!! LOL)  I drank protein shakes yesterday for the first time in years!!!! And I excercised last  night!!! I am doing a liquid diet for a couple days to shrink my pouch back down after my year of over eating... I have gained 20 pounds from my thinnest 2 1/2 years ago... my weight gain has been slow but steady.  I ALWAYS drink with my meals which I know I have to stop and I also drink alcohol which has too many useless calories.  I also know I have to stop that!!! I eat too many carbs, and frankly I eat too much!!!!  I graze all the time and I don't exercise!!!  These are all things I know I can change and I know they will make me lose weight!  I never reached my goal weight (the dr said 170 pounds... i said 180 pounds)  and I was only 5-6 pounds away...   But now I am determined... with the help of my BOTT group to do this!!!

If anyone needs support, someone to check in with and be accountable, I am here for you!!!!

Have a great day everyone!!!!

WAY TO GO!!! the hardest part is actually coming to terms with what it is WE are doing wrong..  I have the hardest time not drinking while I eat, and the darn carbs ... I'm trying to keep them out of my mouth.

How is your liquid diet going ??

Many Blessings

Hi Amanda
Today is my starting over day.  I am reading old posts to see who's out there now.  I am low carb eating to get to my normal BMI.  I hope all is well with you.  I think the people on this site are very helpful because we understand that it actually is difficult to maintain a healthy weight even after surgery.  How many people think this surgery is a "get out of fat free" card.  Let us know if you need any support.  Just me
