Burn 100 cal more and eat 130 cal less and lose 40 lbs.!
I went to myfitnesspal.com and set my goal to maintain 200 lbs. with a sedatary lifestyle. It told me I would maintain if I eat 1850 calories.
Then I set my goal at 160 lbs with a sedatary lifestyle and I can eat 1620 calories to maintain.
So eating only 230 calories a day more makes us weigh 40 lbs. more. Even a cardio workout of 100 calorie burn and eating 130 calories less would have the net effect of 230 calories. No wonder so many of us need to lose 40 lbs. I can eat that many calories from 1 small oz of tostitos and 1 oz of reduced fat cheese. I am starting today.
