Thursday Cafe/Cardio

Good morning,
It's very early, again I'm up at 12:15 a.m.  I wish that they would get my meds straightened out.  I'm taking 4 different meds to help me sleep.  Since it's technically Thursday, I'll post my food.  I did have a slice of low carb toast and glass of decaf iced tea a short time ago to see if it would make me want to sleep.
Breakfast  - protein drink
Snack - slice cheddar cheese
Lunch - out w/friend, probably some type meat minus bread
Dinner - protein drink
Snack - fage

Good Morning Deb & BOTT Family,

Deb you sound like me with the early morning wakeups.  I usually wakeup anywhere between 12:30am to 2am.  Can't go back to sleep and supposed to be up, dressed and out the door by 6:30am, what a bummer.

I pulled the BodyBugg out this week, but for the past two weeks and especially last night I had no difficulty in going and staying asleep.  My Personal Trainer worked me last night and I felt like a wet dish rag when he finally said "great workout" have a good night.  Music to my ears!

I came in had a light dinner with toasted salad and Perdue Short Cuts Roasted Turkey...took a hot shower and by 9:30pm I was in the bed and probably asleep by 9:31pm.

I am finally "Back On Track."

Todays plan...

Exercise...

Walking during lunch break 30 mins
Treadmill 30mins
Strength Training 45 mins

Menu...

EM - Chocolate Protein Shake
         Decaf Coffee ??

B -    Egg White Spinach, Bacon, Tomato & Mushroom Omelet
         2oz. Roasted Red Potato w/ onions
         1 tbsp Ketchup

L -    Perdue Roasted Turkey w/ Field greens, cucumber, tomato &
         Ken's House Lite Italian dressing

D -    Gordon's Grilled Tilapia w/ green beans & small tossed garden salad
         Ken's Lite Italia Dressing

S #1 Chobani Greek Low Fat Strawberry Yogurt

S #2 Peanut Butter & Jelly on 7 grain low cal bread

Good for you, I admire you working out so hard!  I've been cleared to start working out on Monday. I've got my BodyBugg charged and ready to go.  I really am excited!  It's great to see you back.  Keep up the good work!

Where has this week gone?  I've been so busy at work after vacation.  This crazy heat has been brutal in the evenings at home.  The calendar says May 12th, but the temps are more like mid-July.  When I finally broke down and fired up the A/C it wouldn't cool the house.  Fans helped, but I ended up calling a technician.  Super low Freon in the system.  Hopefully I will get a good night sleep now that the house is cooler.

We used the rototiller on the garden and I was able to plant some lettuce, zucchini and cucumbers.  Looking forward to yummy fresh veggies!

Thursday's menu:
Early - protein bar and coffee
B - Oatmeal w/apples and raisins
L - Chipolte vegetarian bowl (ate about 1/2)
S - laughing cow cheese wedge w/celery
D - open face tuna melt w/tomato and swiss cheese on rye bread
S - Edy's slow churn ice cream cup
Nothing tastes as good as being thin feels!  Rhonda

The weather has been brutal, but I refused to put on the air yet.  I've been enjoying the open windows and airing out the house.  I am planning on getting my garden done this weekend.  It's been ages since I've had a garden, but I plan on getting mine done this weekend.

Ditto up at 2 am Thursday morning.  I drank a huge glass of milk and ate the leftover beef stew.  Fell back to sleep at 3 am.  Shot my calories for the day though because I still ate my meals and snacks...oh well.  It is important to sleep too.  Just me

I always think that if I have a little something, it will help me go back to sleep.  I make a piece of l.c. toast w/tea.  It tastes good but doesn't help me go back to sleep!
