let's moving - 30 miles in 30 days and or 500 min of activity per month...

I decided to get 30 miles of brisk walks in 30 days... in May and or 500 min (1 mile = 17 min) of activities in May. 

Join me in my challenge.
BTW: the rules are:
- walking from a car to the grocery store does not count. 
- it need to be walking or doing other activity for at least 10 min continuous (no stopping ) for the mileage- time to count. So walking in the park is fine but walking from a parking place to your work or a restaurant - does not.  

- I plan to go on walks with my GF - 2-3 times a week.  Ar one time will will walk 3-5 miles.
- Then I plan to get my other GF to walk with me in the park.
- And last but not least - walk on my treadmill.
- And do some yoga
I have a smart phone and uploaded a tracking app so I will be able to get real mileage / activities

Good for you Hala!!  It probably would have been an easier challenge if you had did something like so many minutes of exercise per week or even month as you stated.  I walk a lot in 20 to 40 min increments but I don't keep track of mileage only min.  Like my weekly goal is to do 360 min of cardio exercise per week from M to Su.  I do not include the weight training I do at the gym. 

Good luck with your challenge!  It has been very quiet on here, but I am glad to see you back my dear!

This is a great point. 
Next time I will do that too.
Beside walking - I also try to do yoga .... (try ... is a good point) and that can not be counted as steps.
Also plan to drag my BF to do some dancing... again - not real miles.

I will revise the challenge

Great idea!  How will we keep everything posted.  Will there be a sign in for every day?  When we starting?

Probably not every day... but I will do once a week..at least.

great plan!
It is hard to decide minutes or miles....
now that I run I don't do nearly as many minutes as I did walking but I cover alot more miles!!

This sounds like a great challenge and although I'm a few days behind it's never too late to start.  Today is Mother's Day and no time like the present.
