Saturday Cafe/Cardio
Yeah, It's Saturday! We're going home today and for me, "There's no place like home!" I think that overall this week I did really well. I can't wait to step on the scale tomorrow morning. My food plan for today:
Early 2:00 Breakfast - protein drink
Breakfast - 1 egg w/bacon
Lunch - will be at airport, cheeseburger (minus bun)
Snack - cheese stick, hoping to find Fage yogurt
Dinner - ricotta cheese, nothing like home food!

Have a safe trip home Deb! Weather is cold and rainy here in the Chicago area!
Saturday menu:
Early - Protein bar (bought a new type at Aldi - 10 gr protein - not bad chocolate/pb taste)
B - scrambled egg w/bacon, red pepper, mushroom and cheddar cheese
L - leftover chicken w/refried beans
S - greek yogurt w/strawberries
D - Mini meatloafs in red pepper rings (execellent recipe from Sunny Anderson on FoodNetwork)

They are Aldi's "Light and Fit" brand protein bars. I got the chocolate and peanut butter. I believe they come in a box of 5. I have a container in my pantry will various brands and flavors so I don't get bored! My favorite so far are the Luna bars (I have liked pretty much all flavors).

I agree there is no place like home, but we just had snow accumulating on the grass...wish I was there!
B: oatmeal, nuts and cherries
L: chicken breast, lettuce, apple, yogurt, zucchini muffin
S: veggie chili and sf/ff cheesecake
D: pork, yam, veggie chili
S: nut crunch bar, orange, cheesecake
