Back On Track Together
Wed cafe and cardio
Had my doctor's appointment today and he called with good lab results.. diabetic and heart labs. I don't need RNY labs anymore because they have always been high (no malabsorption and no restriction). Sometimes I wonder if it is a good thing or a bad thing. It is what it is. They want me to wear a continuous blood sugar monitor to analyse my hypoglycemia. He wasn't happy with the 25 I had the other day. I am afraid they'll not let me drive or something though. I am scheduled to meet with the dietitian.
B: oatmeal, walnuts greek yogurt and cherries
L:. sandwich thin, turkey, veggies, orange and peach greek yogurt
D: sandwich thin, port tenderloin, veggies, banana and sf.ff cheesecake
S: apple, greek yogurt, walnuts
should be about 1600 calories.
no cardio because I did taxes today. Maybe tonight though.

Hi Just Me!
Congrats on your bloodwork! That's amazing that you've managed to keep such good control over your vitamins and blood work. The monitor for your hypoglycemia, how does that work. Is it like an implant, I've never heard of it. You're lucky that they are keeping a good eye on you, especially with a blood level of 25! That's a pretty scary number! Take care!

it is the 4th 20s blood sugar with 2 meters (I thought the meter was screwed up the 1st time). Exercise does it to me. I am a type 2 diabetic (my cells don't accept sugar into them) with a pooped out pan crease. My liver doesn't respond normally with glucagon either. So when I exercise the resistance in my cells goes down and the sugar goes into the cells, but the liver doesn't kick out anymore. I don't know about the meter. I really don't want to have wires going into me.
I have a really short bypass and only need 2 Flinstones vitamins and never any supplements. I also absorb every calorie I eat. For some reason I have lost my taste for grease since the RNY...who knows why? I don't eat greasy foods. Physically I can (no dumping syndrome) but fried chicken, pizza, fried hamburgers etc. really truly are of no interest to me. Thus the good cholesterol level.
I am so glad you are on vacation in the warmth. We were in the 40s again. Hopefully it will warm up for your return. Have fun...Just me
