Hi everyone:

I started keeping track of my calories on my Weigh****chers pearl bracelet from years ago except I am counting one bead as 80 calories rather than ww points.  Spring is just around the corner and I need to lose weight to fit into my clothes.  What can I say it has been a rough winter and I am desperate!

B: eggbeater sandwich
S: yogurt and clementines
L: ww tortilla, turkey, fat free cheese, veggies
S: yogurt and pear
D: quinoa, beef, veggies
S: yogurt, apple, nut crunch bar

Hi Just You!
You can so do this!!!  Your meals always look good.  Maybe drinking more water and adding a few more steps a day can get you there a bit quicker.  I have to say that I've never heard of the WW beads.  So interesting and if it help you keep track, work it every day!
Now, go bust your butt!

Weigh****cher had pearl bracelets when they first came out with the points plan.  Every point you would move a charm over 1 pearl until you use up your points.  I don't count points but most of my diabetic exchanges are 80 calories each.  I usually eat 150 cal. of meat at a meal.  So I am aiming for 1600 calories or 20 pearls a day.  It is easier than writing down food.

I have been working my butt off for the past few weeks.  I decided to do 1/3 sprint triathlon a day.  At the end of the week I have completed a whole regular triathlon...24 mile bike, 1 mile swim and 10 K.  (I just do it over 6 days ).  It is working.

You take care and keep encouraging us!

Saturday was so busy I never got a chance to log my meal plan.  Better late than never!

B - Whole wheat waffle w/SF syrup and 2 sl bacon
S - Balance bar and FF latte (my Starbucks addiction!)
L - 2 slices deli ham wrapped around a mozzarella stick
D - 2 oz. steak, 4 shrimp and 2 spears asparagus
S - 1/2 c strawberries w/ a small scoop slow churn ice

Question for Just me......do you normally eat the quinoa just as a side like rice?  I have seen some yummy looking recipes which use quinoa.  I finally found some at our local grocery store and I'm making a Rachel Ray quinoa salad recipe this morning.  I love bean salads for "brown bag" lunch.  I would love to know other ways to prepare.  Thanks!
