Friday Cafe/Cardio
Good Friday morning!
My body is so out of tune, I can't sleep past 3:00 a.m. these days. My iron has kicked in and the doubling of all my vitamins have made a real difference. Hopefully all of my "other issues" will get resolved soon. I'm happy to say that I'm down 6 lbs. this week! I've not had much of an appetite with all of the med changes. I've been drinking my protein drinks 3 times a day along with an occasional banana, and that seems keep me full all day. I'm going to try to get out for a bit of a longer walk today, trying to build myself up.

Congrats Deb:

My goal for the next week is to not graze between breakfast and lunch
not eat any chocolate(except protein bar and protein shake)
have only one diet soda per day
walk 5/7 days
I had two sodas, but other than that did good
Out last night/not enough sleep to feel like walking, but did go to the mall so did get SOME walking in. Not enought to count in the 5 days goal.

Sounds like you got some good goals set. I can't imagine trying to cut down on the pop. I had to when I had my surgery 10 yrs ago, they said the "most important" thing is to never have pop! I haven't had once since. The funny thing is of all of the very important things that I should have learned about this surgery, I learned here, on OH, from all of these well informed folks. They should have MD's behind their names!
